I booked for me and my partner to stay at The Priory Guesthouse for his birthday.(recommended by a friend) This place is absolutely beautiful. The breakfast is lovely especially the sausages and bacon. Chris and Sarah cant do enough for you and make you feel very much at home. What a lovely couple. We stayed in the Blue Room but The drawing room was by far my favorite room to be in with a glass of wine and the wood burning fire going.
I never write reviews but felt that this needed one. It is in a perfect location, the locals are lovely and the scenery is great.
We took a walk to The Forbidden Corner. If you get chance go there. Its very strange (in a good way)
If you get chance eat at Richard The Third I can not recommend this place enough. The food is so so nice. The portions sizes are huge so be prepared to be very full :)
We also ate at The Black Bull which is nice, Richard the chief is so friendly. He goes out of his way to make you comfortable.
Overall i have nothing bad to say about the whole weekend. I would definitely book to go here again. As soon as we left i wanted to be back there. It is so care free and relaxing.
