Pleasant, child friendly, limited menu but good stuff, excellent coffee. Nice place to while away an hour.

“Yummy walnut pesto”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

Lovely cosy cafe ... had to wait a bit for lunch but totally fresh salad, with delicious walnut pesto panini in welcoming, arty surroundings in Dursely - part of Prema Arts Centre.

“A gem of a place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2013

The cafe is within a pretty Arts centre which also gives performances, workshops, and exhibitions. And the town of Uley is a beautiful little Cotswold town.

Firstly, this is the best coffee for miles around. One of the owners gives barista classes and cares passionately about quality coffee and food.

If you are in the area, I strongly suggest a detour.

“What a welcome on a wet day!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

We were looking forward to our stay with friends in Gloucestershire but hadn't factored for such cold weather in May. They had the solution though, a warm friendly lunch in Prema Arts Cafe in Uley. 5 Scores on the Doors showed us that the lovely people who run this cafe, cared about hygiene as well as good food and the latter proved to be delicious.
The Chef had made his sour dough bread that morning and it was served with comforting and very tasty pea and cumin soup. The cakes were beautiful...an art- form in themselves! We had little foot shaped shortbread biscuits with painted toenail icing! Sadly we did not have room for the 4 tiered cream and strawberry sponge that was decorated with fresh pansy flowers..all edible of course!

“Great place to escape!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013 via mobile

I cannot praise this place enough, they have a great choice of quality food and drink. Really recommend their lattes and cheese scones. The children love their hot chocolates and their choice of fabulous cakes. And must not forget to mention how lovely the decor and surroundings are. And last but definitely not least the staff are lovely to boot.
