We stayed for 1 night while visiting Westonbirt Arboretum and Slimbridge Wetland Reserve as part of a mini "mystery tour" in the area. Waterend Farm is very well located for both, particularly Slimbridge which is just minutes away.
Hilary made us very welcome - the room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. A huge choice of breakfast options was much appreciated, although I couldn't resist the traditional full English once I spotted the black pudding on the menu.
The house is very close to the motorway, but it didn't detract from the rural setting or disturb us at all.
There's a choice of (driveable) local pubs and restaurants.
