The room was great and Lavinia was very friendly and helpful. It made a very special half term break for us.

What a beautiful stylish bed and breakfast. Lyme Regis itself is so quaint and gorgeous, and Westwood Guest House is a chic and stylish place to stay. No paisley patterns and fake flowers here. Lavinia has a wonderful eye for style and the Guest House is fitted out beautifully. Beautiful white crisp sheets on a big bed, spotlessly clean bathrooms, well fitted-out, lovely breakfasts, great location. Highly highly recommended.

I used the internet to search for some quality accommodation for a short holiday in Lyme Regis…and Westwood Guest House ticked all the boxes for me. I expected a lot from the accommodation, and I wasn’t disappointed in any way. The house has been tastefully and beautifully refurbished recently, and is very clean, spacious and comfortable. There are Super King, King or Twin rooms available, with flat screen TV’s, and drink-making facilities. The bathroom was a large en-suite with shower–and there was plenty of room. I enjoy a “full English” and the breakfast was excellent here-a good choice and beautifully presented. The pricings are very competitive, and are excellent value-for-money .
I booked directly with Lavinia, ([--]), who was most helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and I can thoroughly recommend Westwood Guest House for a relaxing holiday in & about Lyme Regis.

We stayed at Westwood last week, and were so very lucky with some sunny October weather.
The rooms are lovely, fridge, hairdryer, iron, tea and coffee all there for you. The bathroom was excellent - with big walk in shower, I liked that a lot. The bed was big and comfy with good bedding. We had a sea view and it was lovely to look out at the sea as we got up in the morning. We were upstairs and so didn't have a balcony to sit out on, the downstairs rooms have the balcony with table and chairs.
Breakfast was very good, there are individual tables in a breakfast conservatory which is very pleasant, light and airy. Lots of choice and all nicely set out, very good food, and top ups of tea and toast.
Lavinia's B+B has only been open a short time and a few little things still need sorting. The parking was not easy - having said that Lavinia easily reversed our car out of a tricky spot and so there was no problem. Work is underway to improve parking and anyway we could have left the car on the main street at the top of the road.
Westwood is up the hill from the sea and does involve a bit of walking, a nice walk down past all the little shops and with the sea ahead of you, or a walk by the river. Up hill on the way back is more of a challenge - but I managed, and I am the least fit person in our family!
For one of our evening meals we went to The Pilot Boat and would recommend that to other visitors for above average pub food and a good atmosphere.
