I love the enthusiasm of this place but can't honestly say the food lives up to the hype. It does this very English thing of mixing too many flavours in one dish instead of letting ingredients speak for themselves - reminds me of Cranks all those years ago. Popular with families with children, this might be another reason for me not to return, plus I was not overly taken by quite a cold, characterless seating area. Still, certainly preferable to another fish and chip joint.
