The Whole Hog is a tiny hole in the wall operation run by a brother and sister. They produce food from local sources which is simply fantastic.
There is a limited range but if you fancy a hearty lunch for about £4.50 per person, this is for you.
We both had the full experience "The Whole Hog" - roast pork & all the trimmings (including crackling, gravy & apple sauce) in a fresh roll. Then we walked only fifty meters to sit on the stony beach watching the sea while eating it. The only issue were the aerial attacks from the seagulls who are clearly well aware of how fabulous these sandwiches are.
The only issue is that it's not open year round so if you go to Lyme Regis in the winter you might be unlucky .
In short you simply have to try this.
