“Literary Lyme - French Lieutenant's Woman”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

We spent a marvellous Sunday on the French Lieutenant's Woman walk with Natalie in October. The route was varied and interesting, made all the more special by Natalie's commentary. She is a personable and knowledgeable guide with a passion for nature and literature. It is a great way to learn about the local area, the author and his association with Lyme. Not only did Natalie read some excerpts from the book, she also described the locations for the film and, to top it all, she arranged for us to see John Fowles house and walk around the garden. Truly special and highly recommended.

“Mary Anning Illustrated Talk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

At a recent meeting our local group were highly entertained by Natalie Manifold with an illustrated talk about the life of Mary Anning. Natalie gave a lively and well researched presentation accompanied by pictures and many samples of the "Jurassic" fossils to be found at Lyme Regis. Highly recommended.

“Brilliant!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

We went on the Jane Austen tour on a Sunday lunchtime - this is not usually the sort of thing I would do but I very much recommend it. Natalie certainly knows her stuff and the tour was really interesting and enjoyable, full of historical insights. I hurried home to watch my Persuasion DVD! Can't wait to take my family back to Lyme to show them all the things I saw and learnt about that day. Would definitely do another tour with Natalie. Excellent value for money too.

“Jane Austen tour needs no Persuasion”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012

An evening stroll through the back streets of Lyme Regis via the seafront and The Cobb, with Natalie telling tales and reading appropriate short extracts from Jane Austen's Persuasion, was a most delightful way to spend an hour & a half. After this experience, re-reading the Austen books will be even more pleasurable.

“A fabulous experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2012

We went on the Undercliff tour with Natalie and thoroughly enjoyed the sights and hearing the history of Lyme and the geography of the area. The atmosphere was relaxed and the sights were beautiful. I don't think I would have enjoyed the walk as much going without a guide. In fact we were so impressed with the tour that we booked onto a Jane Austen tour for the next day. Natalie obviously has a passion for literature and has clearly researched her topic to give a detailed tour placing works of fiction into a real setting. Reading Persuasion now is a much better experience! I would highly recommend both tours and will be booking the John Fowles tour for my next visit!
