“Yum!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2014

Fancied something sweet on our day off and didnt want to travel far so valley view was the obvious choice! Lush scones with jam and cream also a amazing hot choc with cream marshmellows and popping candy! It also is perfectly placed next to a great local butchers!

“'Worth a visit'”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2014

I visited last week with friends. We were each served a delicious freshly cooked breakfast, with super toast coffee and tea. Pay Valley View a visit, I am sure that you will not be disappointed. On a sunny day the view from the restaurant is great, especially on the seating outside. We plan to visit again later in the day to try the other items on the menu.

“Great atmosphere. Wonderful food. Beautiful view.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2014 via mobile

Came here with a friend this week- working my way through the menu. All food served with a smile from the great hostess (with the mostest) Amy Winzer. Great quality local food.

A wonderful place to spend some time, beautiful valley view.

“A real gem...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2014

Stopped by to treat my partner to breakfast late in the morning (served until noon). He chose the Big Butchers breakfast and I went for the Field breakfast (veggie option). Freshly cooked with home cooked beans, sausages, bacon, hash browns, black pudding and delicious mushrooms and eggs, while mine was minus the meat, but with butternut squash which was delicious. With their lovely coffee and toast, we didn't need to eat again until the evening!
Have eaten here many times and whether having tasty soup, sandwich, cooked meal or cake, the meals are all served beautifully, taste fantastic and are served with a smile. With the green fields to gaze at it is always a pleasure to visit.

“Cafes don't get much better”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2014

I had ham, egg & chips. You'd think it wasn't possible to make a staple meal like that special, but they certainly can here. The coffee was good and strong. The raspberry and white chocolate flapjack was the most delicious cake I've had in a long time - so much so that I took a couple home for the family.

Th service was relaxed and friendly, the wifi was free and the view was to die-for. This all adds up to a place I'll return to soon.
