“Norfolk stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2014

Just got back from a 3 night stay at Stuart House in King Lynn, we stayed in room 6 which was a superior double, it was a lovely room. Food was very good, had such a good choice in the evening we stayed in every night. The staff were all very friendly, would recommend to anyone.

We stayed here for 2 nights and found it superb, the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the room, the food and the bar were without doubt the best we've experienced in our time visiting different places.

The only let down we encountered were problems with logging onto the wi-fi, very erratic, but overall, we were very impressed & hope to revisit in the future.

Am enjoying an excellent three night stay at SH Hotel. The staff are very friendly and obliging, the food is great and the room we are staying is is very comfortable indeed. Today was my birthday and I was treated to a helium balloon, and a decorated apple tart-completely out of the blue! Very thoughtful and much appreciated. I heartily recommend this hotel as a base for Kings Lynn and the nearby North Norfolk coast. Thank You!

Room Tip: I'm sure all rooms will be well appointed.

We found the hotel very comfortable with very friendly staff who seemed to do everything. the rooms were comfortable and clean with a reasonable bar. The three nights for two made it good value. Will stay again when in Kings Lynn

Very pleased with this weekend trip to Kings Lynn. The room was of good size and very clean and our special deal made it good value. We had dinner there and this was excellent. There was a log loffire in the bar and this gave it a good atmosphere
Bar was sometimes unmanned but this was a minor problem

Room Tip: All quiet as hotel is off main road

We stayed at the hotel last week. What a great find in Kings Lynn. The hotel was excellent. Sue and Dave who run the hotel are a lovely couple who make sure that everything is well organised. The staff are very friendly. We really enjoyed the traditional bar and cosy atmosphere. The rooms were well equipped, immaculate and welcoming. The food is also very well prepared and great value. Thoroughly recommend this hotel and would certainly go back again. Perfect for a visit to north Norfolk.

We had our wedding on 12th October here.
Theres so much i could say about this hotel that i dont want to bore you all, so i will make it as quick as possible.
The wedding planner Donna, was very helpful throughout the whole process of the planning. When we arrived there on the day, before i found it very hard to imagine how the venue would turn out looking, but once we arrived i cant begin to explain how beautiful the staff made all aspects of the hotel look. They showed me straight off the room where the ceremony would take place, which they had set up the night before and it was simply stunning. The wedding breakfast, to my surprise was just amazing. the food was of a very high standard and all my guests enjoyed it. The list to choose from has something that will appeal to everyone of different tastes. The staff, really made the whole experience the more worthwhile. They bent over backwards to make sure we were happy and comfortable, no request or question seemed too big or too small and they were exactly the same to my guests. They cleared each room immaculately and the next morning you would never have guessed that there had been wedding a few hours before. The same staff that had been there for us in the evening reception were still there when we came down to join the party for breakfast, which they set up the private room for my wedding party to all sit and have breakfast together and this was offered without me requesting this which was a lovely gesture. There was not a speck of confetti insight the place was so clean. Im sure i have missed so much about the experience we had with the hotel, so my apologies, I just have now found it hard to begin to express how grateful we are to all the staff for all their hard work. I will say that they have been doing some small touch ups to the hotel which make it look wonderful, the honeymoon suite which is an executive room was just gorgeous! The pictures they have on the website dont look anything like the rooms they actually have. It was truly a perfect little country chic experience. I cant thank or recommend this place enough.
