“Excellent wedding venue, hotel and staff outstanding”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2014

27th December 2013 - our perfect wedding made wonderful by all involved. We can't thank you enough, outstanding service, helpful (always with a smile), ensured all ran smoothly and comforted me through a few little testing moments!!! THANK YOU ALL.
Ourselves and family members experienced a 2 night stay during the wedding and this was also perfect, hotel is welcoming, clean and rooms are outstanding, breakfast was first class all this combined with such great staff who clearly enjoy working here, the smiles and personalities say it all. Keep doing what you do, us and our families found all about the hotel faultless. So glad we picked Knights Hill Hotel for our wedding and although only 2 minutes down the road from us we will be ensuring we return for another stay. Again THANK YOU everyone involved.

I was staying 1 night on Xmas eve - preparing to see the Royal Family on 25 Dec morning. I loved this hotel because:-

1. Free car park
2. Only 10 minutes drive to Sandringham Estate
3. Very very very spacious room
4. Clean toilet facilities
5. Staff are friendly
6. Value for money
7. The food (dinner & breakfast) served at the restaurant is not bad

We had the good fortune to spend the New Year at this hotel and had a great time. The weather was extremely wet on the journey to Kings Lynn and it was nice to be greeted by the pleasant reception staff who were very helpful. The rooms were large and we had a beautiful view over open countryside. We were immediately struck by how clean it was everywhere. You really could eat off the floor if you wanted to.The food at the hotel was excellent, particularly the breakfast which was varied and plentiful. The food was hot and not allowed to run out. We will definitely be returning.

A very enjoyable 2-night stay between Christmas and New Year. Room was quiet from the street, but rather overheated for us. Superior Room was perfectly good, though the bathroom is in need of updating - and for a 'spa hotel', after a chlorinated swim, something other than generic cleaning gel (in a large dispenser screwed to the wall, supposedly equally good for hair, body and bath) would have been appreciated: these days you can find Moulton Brown body lotion in a B&B!
The Farmers' Arms on-site pub wasn't impressive out of season: microwaved curry and rice, and no atmosphere to speak of. Probably better with a few more people about! (there are restaurant options in driving distance so we weren't tied to the site).

Our second Christmas break here and it continues with the high standard of sevice, friendly staff and good food. It would be great though if there was more than one option for vegetarians, there were are at least five or six choices for meat eaters on the main courses over the Christmas period but only one option for the non meater eaters.

Room Tip: We had good rooms on the ground floor as father in law not able to use stairs

Great staff & service with wonderful large rooms looking out over the courtyard and to the fields beyond. The property has both a great restaurant and pub on the property. Easy cab ride to the city centre with a lot of history and local shopping. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Request a room overlooking the courtyard. Most have patios or balconies.
