“As good as ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012 via mobile

Just returned from a two night stay at this exceptionally good little hotel. Having stay on previous occasions on business and as a private traveller I was happy to see its just as good as ever.
Rooms are a little on the small side but elegantly furnished, with big comfy beds and a great shower.
Food is top quality. Breakfasts are excellent with plenty of choice. The evening menu has something for everyone. My wife who's a seafood enthusiast had the seafood medley and was very impressed. £65 for three courses and drinks is exceptional value for food of this quality.
All in all if you need to stay in the area for business or are going to a concert at the Stadium of Light or Sage, you'd be hard pushed to find a better place to stay.

Booked two rooms for an overnight stay to attend a friend's wedding. Arrived late but were made really welcome, booking was efficient, check in was welcoming and had no form filling..just what we wanted after a 5 hour journey! Rooms were spotless, warm and comfortable. WiFi was free and easy to access.
Overall couldn't fault the experience, even getting lunch served early so we could eat before leaving for the church!

We stayed just one night in this lovely hotel. We ate in the restaurant which was busy yet the staff were well orgainised, working very hard in a professional manner. The food was very good and breakfast excellent.
Rooms are clean and modern. Bed was very comfortable with quality cotton bedding. Rooms have tea and coffee facilities. We asked for use of an iron and ironing board which arrived within a few minutes.
The outside seating area was very inviting with soft cushioned seating and twinkly lights set in the flagstones. Great in the warmer weather.
We will definately return.

if only all hotel/bar/restaraunt staff were like those at this hotel! nothing was too much of a problem for them, their aim was to ensure my time here was enjoyable. and they succedeed, even when ordering food offering me items that were not on the menu! i cannot praise their attitude enough! oh the room was great!

Never left a review for anywhere before but I feel that I had to about Seaton Lane Inn. We arrived to a wonderful warm welcome at reception and we were very impressed by the decor and ambience of the bar, restaurant and bedroom. Everywhere was exceptionally clean with a very relaxing atmosphere, which was just what we needed after a long journey. We ate at the restaurant and the meal was stunning and the service provided from the staff was fantastic. The waitresses work very hard I must say, well done to you girls! Unfortunately we had to leave early Sunday so couldn't stay for breakfast but a special thank you to Kim who came in early to make us coffee, arrange cereal, fruit etc and between her and the chef even sorted bacon sarnies out for us to eat on our journey and all this by 6.30am! It's such a shame that we live 6 hrs drive away and we can't become regulars! Thank you for a very pleasurable stay we hope to return in the future.

We spent 6 weeks at this hotel due to a leak in our home. All I can say is that the experience was wonderful. Adrian & Dee the owners should be really proud of their staff as they could not do enough for us. They were friendly, attentive, helpful and did everything with a smile. I would employ any one of them. Our bedroom was modern and immaculate. It had tea/coffee making facilities and the bed was extremely comfortable. There was a large choice at breakfast and the two ladies who served us were extremely helpful. We had quite a few evening meals at the hotel, and the Diane Sauce & Peppercorn Sauce are to die for. The mussels were also a great hit with us, as was the Surf and turf. To be honest all the meals we had were lovely and the staff always came over checking that everything was ok. The hotel itself is very modern and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the quiz nights every Wednesday and Thursday. Got to say a BIG THANK YOU to all the wonderful staff - the people who served us every day and the bar staff in the evening, and also the cleaning team who were all extremely friendly as well. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone. Thanks again.
