“A VERY good budget hotel!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013 via mobile

This was our second 'budget' hotel and again at £29, but this was the difference between night & day! Lovely comfy bed, very clean, hospitality tray. Staff were exceptionally helpful. No lift could have been difficult, and not much rest from a noisy extractor fan from the kitchens. That aside I would use THIS hotel again, & will use Premier Inns again.

This is a fab premier inn, the location is fantastic and booked in advance is a real bargain. The rooms are compact and bijou, great shower and very comfortable bed. The decor is lovely and everything that is expected of a premier inn. We left too early for breakfast,

Room Tip: Book early for a great deal, fabulous location!

Booked this for one night at a ridiculously low rate of £29. Very pleasant stay. Restricted parking outside the hotel but after 4.30pm can leave the car until 10.30 the following day for free. Sophie at reception gave us a very warm welcome and even showed us a couple of rooms for us to choose from. She could not have been more helpful, well done Sophie.
The room was very clean and tidy with sparkling bedding. The hotel has the advantage of being part of the same building as Table Table a bar restaurant so everything on site. With Premier you get 30 minutes free wifi but as Table Table offer continuous free wifi we just logged into that.
Breakfast is very reasonable at £5.25 for continental and £8.25 for full English. All the food was fresh and the choice was excellent.
Would definately return even if we could not get the special rate. With Premier Inns you get no frills but very good rooms atr a reasonable price.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the stree are good.

Travelling from derby, we wanted a "stopover" close (ish) to LHR and with such an attractive offer here, we couldn't say no. It's only a 25 minute run to terminal 3 on a Monday morning in any case. Yes, you can park right outside unrestricted after 6.00 pm and for up to 2 hours after 8.00 a.m. Perfect!
Reception was very, very friendly and the rooms, although slightly on the small side had everything we needed, clean, tidy and warm.
On a Sunday night, Marlow is pretty quiet but we found a great place to eat - Prezzo, situated towards the top of the High Street. For breakfast, DO NOT miss Cafe Copia. The best bacon sandwich in a VERY long time and the best cup of tea too!

Parking the car is the first thing to think about so park on the double yellows and leave one of you in the car while you get rid of your luggage. A millisecond is the time it takes for one car to leave a space outside this hotel and another to take it's place. When you've done that, drive out to the right, left at the island, past the park and on the left you will see a large, easy to get in, car park. You can then get your car out later in the evening and park outside the hotel until 10.00am the next morning. I have seen that some people have said you can park for £5 something for 24 hours but I don't know how they do it because the car park I've just mentioned starts again at 7am. You could always ask at reception! The hotel itself is very nicely done out. The restaurant and bar both look very inviting. The bedrooms are always of a very acceptable standard and a good night's sleep is guaranteed, or your money back. We were having dinner at The Hand of Flowers which is about 15 minutes walk away (check it out on Tripadvisor) and lunch the next day at The Royal Oak at Paley Street (check out as before but under Maidenhead). This is the pub run by Michael Parkinson, his son Nick and Dom Chapman, a magical chef. Another good thing about a Premier Inn is that you can enjoy a full English breakfast or, if you are going out for a good lunch, you can have what they call a "grab 'n go" breakfast which is much cheaper and will ensure you can do justice to your lunch. I'd seriously consider staying here if I was going to The Aubergine Restaurant at The Complete Angler rather than stay at The Complete Angler too. As I said before a good nights sleep is guaranteed here. (check out their reviews).

Good hotel with friendly staff and a great location. Marlow is a small place so its easy to get to anywhere in the town in just a few mins walking.

The only complaint I have with this hotel is the lack of parking, this is actually a problem with Marlow in general, and there only seem to be a couple of carparks in the town. The solution was to drive around the corner and pay £5.50 a day for parking which was a bit annoying.

Room Tip: I had a room at the top of the hotel, it was possible to hear a little bit of road noise but nothing...

The hotel is small, with only 15 or so rooms. It is located in a string of older buildings now connected and refurbished to modern standards. The small, very narrow, and twisting stairways and hallways give it a bit of character, despite the ubiquitous purple decor found everywhere. Its location in Marlow is in the near the main stretch of shopping and restaurants, as well as the Thames and its' adjacent footpath. It's great if you only need to walk, not so great if you have a car - there's no hotel parking. The adjoining restaurant and pub, the George and Dragon, provides breakfast and dinner. I found the breakfast to be adequate. If you choose a meal plan add-on to your hotel room the dinner choices are from a restricted and limited menu.
The room I was given had a firm but comfortable double bed (queen sized in US standards), a small TV with many channels, a workdesk, and full bathroom. The shower had plenty of pressure and good flow. The tub was nice and long, which allowed for a good soak. Things seemed generally well-maintained and clean. There were newer windows installed behind the older exterior windows, creating a very quiet environment despite the traffic just outside. There was no telephone in the room. I had a weekly internet access plan for £10. It was fast, but the connection was flaky at times. If staying in Marlow again, I would come back here if I had no car. If I had a car, I'd go to the Crowne Plaza instead, or perhaps stay in an adjacent city.
