Stayed here near the start of our honeymoon. Just loved it, especially being Salavdor Dali fans (he used to dine and stay at the hotel). Hotel is near the Dali Museum (definitely a must see). Enjoyed the hotel so much came back to stay for another 3 nights at the end of our honeymoon. Rooms are typically Spanish. Found the restaurant to be excellent, if a little expensive.

We stayed here in 1980 and still often refer to it as one of our better spots. We had a room overlooking the main square (noisy!), and I remember well the great bangs each evening at sunset as guns were set of to discourage birds from settling in the trees. (Did it work? I'm not sure!) Anyhow, it didn't affect our enjoyment - we're hoping to go back there in 2004.
