“Great day trip from Barcelona”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

My fiance and I love art and could not pass up a Dali museum. It was absolutely amazing definitely worth seeing. We took a train about 200km which took about 2 hours for 15 euro a person from a local station in Barcelona (Clot-Aragos) there and back. There was about an hour line to get in the museum I think it could have been avoided if you bought your tickets online (something to look into). We ate tapas around the corner from the museum, but after that there is not much to do in Figueres so we left after being there a half day.

“Amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

This is my favourite museum ever! Completely blows your mind away, the surrealism of his paintings is a must see. If you enjoy art and like Dali, then visit this museum. It's a day trip from Barcelona. Just beware walking through the Figueres village, it's a bit dodgy, there are strange people around so hold onto your bag tight and you will be fine. The museum is about a 10-15min walk from the station.

“Dali lovers must see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

I liked it all an intense experience for a Dali lover like me. The entire building is a shrine to the man himself. There is humor there is darkness there is preoccupation with mortality.

“Impressive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013

Prepare to spend several hours there to appreciate the great collection. You'll see something different when you look at the same exhibit again. The entrance fee includes a visit to Dali Jewels which is virtually next door. You could take a lunch break and then visit the Jewels museum in the afternoon. The collection is much more interesting than what I've expected.

“Dali Museum”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

Visited the Dali museum whilst on holidaying on the Costa Brava, we went with an organised tour which cost €51,00 each, this also included a stop off in Pubol, the village that Dali's wife Gala lived. Well worth the money as the tour guides give you all the information on the life and work of Dali. The only downside of this visit was that the museum was very crowded, which didnt give you the chance to observe this great artist's work.
