“Incredible good food - if you like Indian food you will love this place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013 via mobile

Hot or mild - no problem. The taste is fantastic, the colours so much nicer then any other place I have been too.
Beateful views over the sea. The looks if the restaurant are ok, could need a light renovation, but really doesn't matter when you first taste your food. Ps. Be careful with the chillysause - its quite hot. Don't miss this restaurant if you like Indian food!

“A Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012

My husband and I went here in September, the waiter was attentive without being pushy. He was very funny.
The food was probably the best India i have had outside of the UK.
I always have a lamb curry and this curry here was so tender.
we had a starter, mains including rice and naan, a bottle of wine and an irish coffee all for under €60.

Well worth a visit

“Excellent little indian!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2012

After seeing a sign promoting the Rani Tandoori on a afternoon stroll we took the name and number of this restaurant, the next day we got our hotel to reserve me and my girlfriend a table here the following night.
We asked the taxi driver to take us here but he did not know where it was,it is very hard to find as it set quite far back and you wouldnt expect it there, However we eventually found it by a man working promoting the restaurant, he took us into the restaurant, we were welcomed and offered a nice table next to the window with a sea view.
We were offered the menu and wine list, all the prices were very reasonable, the waiter was very friendly and helpful, we ordered wine and chicken pakoras to start, the started came in good time, the pakoras were delicious and there was pleanty for the two of us,
once finishing the food was took away and we ordered our mains, i was recomended to try the chilli chicken but never listened and went for the chicken curry and my partner went for the chicken tikka masala, the food came within in good time. Amazing ! lovely food so much flavour, one of the best we have had! although i wish i had took his advice and tried the chicken chilli masala.
we ended up staying with a second bottle of wine as it was a lovely atmopshere in this resturant. it does not look much from the outside but its the food and good service over rides this.
when leaving the chef also came and said bye. would recommend this indian resturant !
