We booked three apartments for a group of 11 (6 Adults/5 Kids) back in June 2007, as we knew we were staying for the New Year and were keen to get the accomodation booked.
The apartments were booked for 11 nights from the 28/12/2007, but on arrival, after seeing two couples trying to check in in front of being told that they had no rooms available and being put in taxis to Santa Cruz to "the only hotel available on the island", we feared the worst.
When it was our turn to check in, we were informed that they had apartments for us for the 1st night, but we did not have accomodation for the following 10 nights and we would have to contact our hotel provider (WSH Travel) in the morning.
At this point it was 1am and as we walked past the swimming pool, we noticed that all of the sunbeds had been "reserved" with towels already for the following morning!!!
On entering the apartments we encountered furniture from the eighties, with bedding from a similar era with cigarette burns and holes (only provided on the main beds, no bedding for kids beds) and the balcony doors would not lock on 2 of the apartments.
The rooms were very dirty, with mucky kitchen surfaces, a dirty hole where a fridge had been and cracked floor tiles that looked like they hadn't been mopped for weeks.
Needless to say we didn't unpack and were glad when our hotel company provided us with alternative accomodation the following day at Villa Tagoro Aparthotel.
After visiting tenerife on about 12 seperate occasions, I would rate this hotel as the worst we have encountered.
I CAN DO BASIC, BUT I CAN'T DO FILTHY!!!
