“Fantastic!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2011

The resort was fantastic. Great value, location, pool, apartments! Stayd in 151, Large "infenced" aera with 2 sunbeds outside. Location was great, short walk to beach 300 meters, shop and restaurants 100 meters. Pool aera large and fantastic temp 25-27. only drawback sunbeds were reserved althoug it was not allowed. Daniel the lifeguard was great wiht the kids. Pool open from 09.00 to 20.00 there was a jacuzzi for 4 people also. Apartment was large and well equipped; seperate bedroom wiht real double bed, not two single, flatscreen 28" in bedroom and 32 with dvd player in main room, large fridge w/ freezer, micro, toaster, cofeemaker, dishwasher ++ all equipment you need, and than some! Only drawback was we had to lisen to a singer at a nearby restaurant in evening until midnight, was a bit bring after a few days, as he sang the same songs every night... Our apartment was great for kids, as the outside aera was about 40 sqm and very private. concrete wall to nexdoors and 3meter grenn/plasticgrass fens to the "road" (walking only) All in all great value, location and resort!!

Room Tip: groundfloor 4 kids, west side for privacy....

The appartment was well equiped clean and very homely and comfy. The pool area was kept clean and tidy and the lifeguard was the best i've ever seen, interacted with the children but always had an eye on everyone. The bar and resaurant were lovely and the staff very helpful and friendly. Over all my family and i had wonderful holiday and it won't be long before we go back!!!

Just got back from RSBC, owned by Timeshare Diamond Resorts.

We booked independently, but having stayed at a number of their resorts in the past knew what to expect.

Room was better than expected, appeared recently refurbished (a number of rooms on the other side of the hotel were being done) Good amenities in the room, including a Sony tv, DVD player and stereo.

The pool was, shall we say a bit fresh at this time of year - however was a nice invigorating wake up!

Bars were good, selling both local and recognised brands, with happy hours at 5 in the pool bar and 9 in the main bar. Evening entertainment was not the best.

One gripe, we only stayed 4 days and the rooms get cleaned every three, could really have done with it after two.

Outside of the hotel, two restaurants definately worth a visit are the excellent El Molino Blanco, http://www.molino-blanco.com/ as pretty a place as you could wish for, with great food to boot (and the windmill outside)

Also La Vieja, a fab fish restaurant where you can choose your fish directly - straight from the tank or from the frozen counter - we had the excellent Salt baled sea bass, fab!

A great winter trip, sunny enough for shorts and t shirt, not too hot that you have to shy away inside under the midday sun.

There are many good things about this hotel/timeshare, unfortunately a good nights sleep was not included. My wife and I are largish in frame but not exceptionally so. The beds in the 'second room' are 2ft 6iches wide (yes two inches wider than a coffin/casket if you must know)

One of the smaller pleasures of bedtime is being able to turn this way and that occasionally -forget it. You can of course 'spin' on the spot, in the manner of a chicken on a spit. Any lateral movement and you're out the bed !

Maybe too much info here... but I could lie on the bed and touch the floor on either side with my feet simultaneously, and no, I wasn't an extra in Avatar ! The staff were almost convincing when they said noone had previously mentioned the small beds, but I cant believe it.. They kindly offered to zip the twin beds together, which was helpful in that it meant my wife and I could only fall out one side of the bed.

My wife has never struck me with her arms (or any other part) whilst sleeping in 25 years of marriage. She hit my face TWICE in the same night in the zipped up bed.
I don't know if I can trust her now : 0

btw the master double beds appear to be smaller than two zipped up beds (4ft 6 I guess? ) Come on Diamond Resorts- dont be so mean with the beds. They spoil an excellent facility. I've said I wouldn't recommend the hotel , based purely on the bed size
It was that much of an issue for us.

have just returned from the Royal sunset beach club which we booked via booking.com got a great price, we knew where the hotel was so no surprises there. location is great right over road fro. restaurants bars and shops and 2 minute walk from beach.

Accomdation was good we had one of the rooms that havent been refurbished yet but it was still great everthing you need then some we even had a roof terrace which was priceless because getting round the pool in half term no chance unless your prepared to get there by 8am and sit on your sunbed othewise the life guard will remove your towels people did just that dont forget you are suppose to be on your hols.

the first week wasnt so bad then we watched the arrivals on friday, most of which I think are timeshare owners cause alot did seem to know each other all very loud and then then fun started on your marks get set go get your sunbed, couldnt get in the pool as there kids mucking about so much you either got hit or splashed by something or someone. want to go for lunch at the poolside bar no chance although we did the first week and previous comment about the best burgers are true if you can get there. want a nice evening in again no chance kids running riot parents taking no notice, want a peaceful nights sleep..... you got it no chance kids still running riot and teens making lots of noise when they came in.

the hotel itself was good but just other guests ruin it,and i'm afraid to say yes these guests were english and there were quite a few of them its was an embarrassment we werent the only guests to notice this and needless to say they werent ones who owned timeshare at this property.

come on people have a bit of repsect for being english and stop showing us all up, please please our foreign friends we are not all this badly behaved

also hotel charges for wifi access on your own device even in the reception area even though you can go across the road to a bar or restaurant and get it for free come on diamond get with the times
