“Really good value, and would return!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2012

Overall I am not an easy person to please but this Hotel is a little gem. Not too busy, very very very clean. Although the rooms are a bit dated they are well equipped and well maintained and have excellent power showers. Out apartment overlooked the pool, and we were very impressed. The pool area is lovely. Our biggest criticism was there was a kids pool and a lifeguard, but despite lots of signs saying games, inflatables and toys were not permitted in the pool there were lots of kids and inflatables in the main pool and the lifeguard would not tell them off! Very annoying. We had breakfast, and cocktails all of which was good. Watch out for the price of their Sangria it's very over priced... All in all a very nice place, in an excellent location.

Just returned from Parque Del Sol and already planning to return.Clean large well laid out apartments in a good location. Cleaning daily and Gladys was great. Pool area large and plenty of beds which had cushion which was a nice touch. Lunch at pool bar great and afternoon Mojito's were a nice plus. Staff all fantastic, friendly and nothing was a problem. Taxi only max 20 minutes to airport and €25 was easier than the transfer we did have which took over an hour on arrival.(Taxi rank outside)

Room Tip: we had sea view room and had sun most of he day on balcony especially at breakfast time which was gr...

Parque Del Sol is an aparthotel located just a short walk from an excellent sandy beach. The rooms are spacious and very well equiped. Swimming pool is large, plenty of sun loungers and parasols. Evening entertainment in the spacous bar, caters for kids and adults. Reasonable prices at the bar. Would definately stay here again.

Room Tip: all inclusive and half board options available, we chose to pay for half board on our last day, and...

Spent a week here with my partner & loved this hotel. The rooms are a bit dated but they are spacious, clean & comfortable with ceiling fans! The pool area is spotless with an abundance of sunbeds although towels are laid on them early in the morning. They do breakfast & Evening meal although we didn't eat there. Staff are friendly & helpful. There is evening entertainment which we didn't go to. There are loads of bars & restaurants within walking distance and you can walk along the coast to The Americas & Los Christianos which will take about 30-45 mins.

Wouldn't hesitate to go back to this hotel but would ask for a pool view room as ours overlooked out to the street where there is a taxi rank which could be noisy.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view

I can recommend this hotel/timeshare complex. It's comfortable, clean and friendly with all the requirements you'd need for a good holiday.

We had never been to Tenerife but wanted to get out of the dark/rain of Germany.

The Pros/positive things--

Very kind people at the front desk.

Grocery store nearby.

This was a good location as the free shuttle to Siam Park came nearby.

We ate on the property the first night. The food was very good but too much food for what we usually want for an evening meal. Very good quality food and a good variety.

There were plenty of eateries within walking distance.

There were plenty of sun lounges and umbrellas and side tables to accommodate everyone.

The little apartments each had a nice sized patio.

The bar was very reasonably priced as was the snack stand at the pool. Cheaper than at a regular restaurant for many items.

plenty of dishes for a short stay

nice towels

Very clean.

good blackout curtains

nice hair hockey table

plenty of hot water and good water pressure

free internet (where it reaches/works)

The bad points/cons--

We asked for a room near the pool so that we could access internet but our bedroom faced the back and we were right above the kitchen. That whole back area of building G would face that way and it was VERY loud at night and early in the am. Since we asked to be moved from building A we did not complain but I would recommend a quieter area.

not even a dish rag to wash dishes, one that could be washed/recycled for other guests

not even a tiny mini bottle of dish liquid--even a 1 oz would have been nice in case you arrived in late and ate in the room and forgot to bring some or get some the night prior

if you come when it is hot you may want to ask for an extra fan

the beds in the bedroom were VERY hard and very short...we ended up fighting over who would sleep on the sofa sleeper mattress but we had to put it on the floor as it was unstable on the sofa bed frame

plan on having extra cash for deposits for everything (towels, ping pong paddles etc)

sauna is extra

pool tables are broken and don't work right, and the balls are a mess

if you choose to do a load of laundry it is 5euro for wash and 4 for dry and it is the American type which don't work well if you fill them too full

over all, for $300 (USD) for a week it was wonderful, we will go back if we can get another rate like that

Room Tip: away from the kitchen

Honeymoon trip on December 2011.Weather was nice, people were (mostly) polite and helpful and hotel itself was more than expected. At this time of year no big noises, no drunk youngsters and not too hot.
Average temperature was around 23 but we were unlucky cause "sandcloud" from Sahara fainted sunshine a lot so we didn't get full sun during the week.

Room Tip: H3-3 was in inner part of complex, high enough from pool bar and far enough from street noises.
