Booked this holiday late on with warnings from the agent that "it is really quiet, you might not like it". If you do, then go - this hotel is great. Playa Paraiso is 5 hotels and 10 shops, and a bus back and forth to life as we know it - so what's the problem ?.

Lazing by the pool is great, the staff are brilliant - very attentive and a good laugh. Food choice was excellent despite what others said; " the mash is horrible, I can't eat it..." so go home and get some proper mash leaving evetyone else to enjoy themselves !. Seriously, if everyone can't find something to eat in this place, then they ought to be drip fed.

Rooms were clean, as was everywhere ( until the smokers leave their dirty disposable ash trays everywhere - despite there being dozens of bins around ). Pool can be cramped, but find a quite spot upstairs on the higher level or wait until late afternoon when they all go elsewhere.

We went all inclusive and I now have to work at losing the extra weight - if you accept that the place is quite, then this is certainly worthwhile. We still went around on the local buses and missed a couple of lunches, but so what ?.

Can't fault the place - great holiday, great staff, good food and loads of sun.

Well where do i start. Myself my mum and my best mate went here. Firstly the hotel its self is beautiful the rooms are clean and the maids were fantastic. They cleaned the room spotless and left fresh flowers every day. The pool was beautiful and there was no morning rush for the sunbeds as there were plenty. Food was great for all inclusive .. great range from normal uk food to french and itallian. The entertainers were awesome and made us feel really welcome. Bar staff also really friendly from the minute they met you. Not too many fellow scots there mostly english and german but a great laugh. Las americas not too far away only 8euros in a taxi at night and 2 euros for the local bus.
All in all a wonderful holiday and would go back in a heartbeat !

“Perfect Paraiso”

Fiesta Hotel Oasis Paraiso

As first time visitors to the Hotel Fiesta Oasis Paraiso , we didn't really know what to expect . My sister and her family has travelled there the year before and had said the hotel was "good" but you always have your doubts.

Checking in was fast and easy . As we raced to our room we found it was clean and roomy enough for the three of us.After all , who wants to spend their whole holiday in the hotel room ? As it was late at night we decided to head down the stairs to the lounge for a taste of the entertainment. The first night was karaoke which was ok, and we all fairly enjoyed the evening.

Heading for breakfast in the large buffet restaurant , we noticed how clean and tidy the hotel was with maids rushing around us. The breakfast was enjoyable with a wide variety of foods including cereals , meats, breads , pastries , fresh fruit and ofcourse the full English Brekkie ! Beverages include hot drinks such as tea, coffee etc , and then a selection of fresh fruit juices & water. Lunch is served in an a la carte restaurant situated at one end of the pool, and there is a variety of food on offer . Dinner in the buffet restaurant is also good quality with again a wide variety of foods on offer at many themed nights . Deserts are available are as drinks.

The pool is clean and of fair size , but be quick down in the morning if you want a sunlounger . Mats for these are free . The pools are freezing cold perfect for a quick dip in the scorching summer sun .

During the day there is the Thomsons Kids Club , Hotel Mini Club and a selection of adult games. At night in the lounge , the winners of the days Mini Club & Adult games will get a certificate and a keyring , t-shirt or cap. Entertainment at night was exceptional with many different shows , and the entertainment team were also brilliant . Special mention for Miriam who always provided us with a good laugh!

Overall , this hotel deserves more than its 3 star rating as it is a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

We booked through Thomsons and were a bit apprehensive about going to this very quiet area. The Oasis Paraiso 3*** Hotel has everything you need to enjoy your holiday, but it is 3***.

It's spotless, clean towels every day, linen changed frequently, but we never checked to see how many times in the week it happened.

Food is much better and more varied than the 4**** Sol Costa Blanca in Benidorm I moaned about in a previous review. Breakfast is mostly the same, and it's up to you how you change it about to suit the choice of food. Evening Meal main courses are varied and there's not too much fish on offer, which suited my husband to a 'T' (the soup was never very tasty). Fresh fruit is seasonal - lots of melon, bananas (of course), pears, apples, oranges (beautiful). Sweets were much of a muchness but we never ate them anyway. If you starve here it's your own fault.

The first room we were booked into had an adjoining door to the next room and we could hear every single spoken and whispered word from the nice young couple who were in the next room. I think we were in 1214. We requested a change and had Room 1234 - which had a perfect view over the main street of Playa Paraiso and a fabulous view over the Atlantic ocean - wonderful.

Staff at this hotel go out of their way to be nice - we never encountered a dour-faced Spanish employee here. We enjoyed the entertainment but we noticed it wasn't to everyone's taste - bingo every night at 10pm - and we were waiting on 2 at one time!!!!!

The resort is extremely quiet so don't go looking for action. The main roads in and around the area are 'looped'. Walkways and beach areas are being developed and it is going to be beautiful at some point in the future - it's even nice now when you walking along the small promenades and great if you need to get away from it all. We would say there's nothing to do during the day if you don't fancy sitting at the poolside. We varied our trips by going to Los Cristianos, Las Americas, Los Gigantes and Coste Adeje - then came home at night for our meal and entertainment. We bought the Bono Bus Pass and it saved us quite a bit in fares.

I have to say that I really wasn't looking forward to this trip - I've never fancied Tenerife but my husband has been keen to go for a few years. We had a great holiday. We'd go back - we'd go to the same hotel and we'd travel in and out of other resorts by bus, just like we did this time. Don't know if this review will be helpful to you - everyone looks for something different on holiday, but if you go, I hope you enjoy it very much.
