“Best day of the holiday - sailing !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2013

First time ever we decided to go for a 3 hour sailing trip in Adeje - Tenerife. Never done this before and we didn't fancy going on a boat with 90 other tourists - wanted something a bit more exclusive! Ivan the captain who owns the yacht was outstanding. He really took care of the five of us and explained what the trip was about - whale watching/snorkelling etc but the main thing for me was we all felt very safe especially when you have a 14 and a 17 year nephew and niece . The trip included lunch and drinks and Ivan could not have been more helpful. He even spent time teaching my nephew (14 years) how to sail.

The price was very reasonable for 3 hours but we came away thinking we should have booked for a 5 hour trip. Seeing the whales was amazing and been on a private yacht we could practically go where we wanted to. The snorkelling was also something else and Ivan provided the equipment too. Followed by a sail back to port with a sandwich and drink.

Cheers Ivan - see you next year for a 5 hour sail. All the best Mark, Deb, Linz, Georgia & Jake.

“Some real sailing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

Great experience and really a pleasant trip with a good captain who managed to make the trip enjoyable even with half of guests inflicted by the seasickness. What we liked about this sailing experience is the sailing itself. All too often the sailboats do not bother to sail but motor the boat all the way for their own convenience. Captain Ivan does not cheat! The sailing gave us an opportunity to do the whale watching; not so lucky with dolphins but we did see turtles. Simple lunch and drinks served on the deck. Ivan even prepared some hot tea for his Russian guests on board. There is a chance for a swim - in our case in a small natural harbor. We will consider a 3 day sail to Gomera with Ivan in the future.

“The very best sailing, dolphin and whale watching trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

My husband and I went on this trip in May and it was without doubt the best dolphin/whale watching trip I have been on and I've done several in my time.

It is luck of the draw but we saw 200+ dolphins on the afternoon of our trip. They swam along side the boat for over 30 minutes and as the water was so clear, it was a fantastic and clear sighting. We saw a handful of whales and not as close but the skipper advised it was considered a bad day for whales and excellent day for dolphins (usually the whales are the majority vs dolphins).

The boat was supposed to accommodate up to 8 people but as it was a quiet period on the island, we were the only 2 people on the boat with Ivan, the skipper and owner. Basically, a personal sail boat and skipper and we chose exactly what we wanted to do.

After seeing literally hundreds of Flippers, Moby and his mates we had a fabulous swim in crystal clear waters followed by a couple of glasses of wine and a leisurely sail back to Puerto Colon.

Ivan was a pleasure and very knowledgable about what we saw along the way. Highly recommended for a chilled day on the water and plenty of sightings of stuff.

FYI - It is not a party boat nor for those expecting a big lunch (on this one you get a good cheese and ham sandwich) or drunken afternoon. Check out one of the larger boats for that.

“Amazing experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

It was the first time for me sailing and i can tell i was totally impresed! We were 4 friends for a 3 days trip from Tenerife to Gomera. We got to see the dolphins and the whales, went snorkel and swiming in a wonderful bay. Ivan, the captain, was so great, always making sure we are ok and taking good care of us. We enjoyed the best conditions! The bed was really confortable and in the morning was so nice waking up by the smell of fresh made coffee and going for a swim in our own "private bay". Can t wait to repeat this experince. I totally recommend this unique experience. Thank you Ivan !
