We went to the BPCA for a 2nd time in Feb'13 just before the school mid-term & wow the hotel never disappoints :) excellent & efficient check in & nice acknowledement of a returning customer :) :) fantastic food which is varied everyday & would suit all tastes mexican & asian are fab :) entertainment during the day & evening are good & you aren't badgered to join in but are made more than welcome when you do decide to join in :) Rooms again are kept immaculate by the maids & they really do seem to enjoy their work with wee towel shapes & a smile & hello everyday :) staff ehre so very pleasant & nothing is a problem :) reps were handy & always there when they said they would be & helped where needed :) Our week crossed over into the mid-term so quieter in the beginning of our holiday & a lot busier towards the end but it was never so busy that you felt clausterphobic & there were ALWAYS plenty sunloungers & parasols (maybe different in peak season though)....weather was super (mid 20's & up) like a lovely summer day back home!!!......so yet again another fantastic holiday & can't wait to go back :) :)

Our 4th visit and I am pleased to say the standards have not fallen. We have previously stayed at the sister hotel 'Tenerife', which is smaller and quieter, but as the children are now older, we opted for the 'Costa Adeje' where the pool is a little more lively with water polo etc - but never 'rowdy'. Our request for an adjoining room for the teenage children was met, as well as our request for a pool view. The food is excellent - which is essential as we have a diabetic amongst us. Everywhere is spotlessly clean, inside and out. The gardens are beautiful and the hotel is regularly freshly painted to keep the colours vibrant. The staff are friendly, helpful and polite - cleaners, receptionists, bar staff, restaurant staff, decorators - everyone. It really is a lovely resort and well worth a visit as a couple or with small children or teenagers. Our teenagers were never bored. The activities mean they soon make friends and the entertainment team are fantastic with the kids and so full of energy!! Especially 'Casper'! We left the pool one day and visited siam park again, which was 30e both ways in a taxi. I was very unsure about any all inclusive hotel before I was convinced by friends (who have stayed here 15 times!) to try the Bahia. We have always opted for an apartment or villa. All inclusive provoked fears of poor food in a canteen type of setting and lots of drunk people to be frank. But the Bahia could not be more different and is classy but fun. It really is very lovely. We are looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for yet another lovely holiday 'Bahia Principe'.

Stayed 12th -19th April our 3rd visit in 18 months great all inclusive nothing seems to have changed in the 18 months from our first visit always had a good room, yes they do need updated but you only sleep in them.visited the Asian restaurant which was very good the Italian lacked something but we had a very grumpy waiter who just dumped down our drinks and never came back to see if we wanted another drink or top up which put us off never had that before in our previous visits to the Italian restaurant. we have always lay by the infinity pool which is quite and relaxing the weather was very good in our stay cannot say anything else a great week of relaxation a good week of food and drink just what needed when the weather back home is terrible yes I think we will be back hopefully before the end of the year for another week of r @ r

Room Tip: all rooms good but pool view rooms end with odd number

Choice of 6 restaurants, all providing excellent cuisine. Choice of swimming pools. (The infinity pool was magic). Ask for a odd number room, if you want to overlook the pools, an even number gives a view over a gorge, but was lovely and quiet. You don't need to leave the complex as everything you require is provided for you. There is even a sports bar showing all the premiership games live (you have to pay for your drinks).

Room Tip: Block 7 great view over the sea and pools.

We stayed for a week 12th to 19th April, the complex is amazing beautiful gardens, pools and views but quite remote, but if you are looking for a relaxing poolside holiday this is ok. The rooms were very clean but needed updating decor wise, the food and drinks included in the all inclusive package were first class, huge choice for everyone. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Did the Italian A la Carte one evening got served by a really grumpy waiter and found atmosphere very poor, but again the food was exceptional. Entertainment was quite repetative during the day but evening shows were always different, some better than others. We did the tour to Lorro Parque but found this to be a very long day, we had about 6 pick ups around Costa Adeje before we could set off so the journiey took about 2 1/2 hours to get there and just slightly less coming back resulting in lost time at the park which was dissapointing, the park itself was amazing. Siam Park was only 10-15 mins from hotel and we went by taxi which cost 15 Euros each way and well worth the money, again this park was amazing for all ages something for everyone if you like getting wet! Overall the hotel was first class and we will definately be going back again next year.

Room Tip: Choose a room with poolside view, amazing views, standard rooms are huge with balcony.

Our 8th visit, and just as good as ever. We just love this hotel. There are loads of reviews giving details so I won’t replicate them here, but if anyone wants any specific information message me.

This year I’m going to name names of just a few of the people who made our holiday special. Mila on reception – first point of contact and makes us feel at home straight away. Galindo, one of the head waiters in the Mirador restaurant – his presence in the dining room seems to create such an efficient and friendly atmosphere. Rivaro in the bar – always a smile and he started mixing the g&t as soon as he saw us approaching the bar. The lovely drinks waiter with the middle name Angel – if he thought you would struggle to carry drinks he would be there with his tray to carry them for you. The breakfast egg chef – he showed no mercy with guests who were in the wrong queue (one for fried eggs, one for omelettes) but cooked a wonderful omelette.

Even the entertainment in the Pueblo area was better this year. The girl band with electric violins were just about OK, and the guy who danced flamenco to their music had hips and by gosh he knew how to use them. The Queen tribute band was good, and the secure 4 part harmonies of the Eagles tribute band, combined with the infectious enthusiasm of the animation team made for an enjoyable evening.

We visited the week after the Easter school holidays so there was no problem getting a sunlounger. The whole site was as clean as usual and the gardens were superb as always.

I hate to give any criticism but I would mention that I think it is time a towel inspection took place – all the bathroom towels now resemble sandpaper as much as towel!

But before you go – I see there are still reviews that mention the location of the hotel. It is isolated. There is nowhere to walk to in the evening (or really in the day). To us this is ideal – but please bear it in mind when you book!

Now how soon can we save up for visit 9?
