“Isolated but who cares !”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012

The hotel and complex has everything you need for a good quality and
relaxing holiday. My wife and I stayed for 11 nights in early October this year and we
would not rule out a return next year, The food is very good the staff are excellent and
there is plenty of entertainment. My Daughter and her boyfriend were staying down the coast and we invited them over and paid just 30 euros for each of them to spend the day with us. This included , Lunch , snacks and as much to drink as they could manage for the whole day...pretty good value !
Linen tablecloths , napkins and well polished glasses , crockery and cutlery...everywhere kept very clean and the gardens and pools are superb. You help yourself to all drinks at the bars but in the restaurants whether a la carte or buffet the staff are continually topping up your drinks and there is also a bar where you can order drinks in the normal way.
Down by the bottom pool overlooking the sea there is a snck bar serving lunchtime fast food and drinks for those wanting to be less formal.
I don't think we have stayed anywhere that is better value.

Room Tip: Rooms with a side sea view on the outside are quieter but the best rooms are the junior suites at th...

Great for families...don't bother going if your not part of a family holiday, we were a group of 4 adults with no children & it was BORING & NOISY!!! Admittedly it's the 1st time we have ever been on a all inclusive holiday I can safely say the last with THOMAS COOK, as loads of things that
we thought would be normally included in a 5 star hotel like a safe, towels, kettle, iron but we were told we could have all these at an extra charge!!!
The included drinks were awful the food was ok but again we had the choice of 5 restaurants to choose from so we thought, until we went to pre book them & told we could only go to 3 of the a la carte restaurants once only!!! Also all bars closed at 11.30 & the hotel was deathly quiet by midnight!!!
There is nothing nearby to walk to break away from being in the compound feeling!!! So please consider all the above points before booking.

Dear Guests,

Thank you for sharing your experience in Bahía Príncipe Costa Adeje.

We are sorry if your stay in our hotel has not been so satisfactory and if you thought it is more orientated to families. However, we also get many couples of all different ages.

We understand that you must have got upset if you expected certain items like safe, kettle or iron to be included or if you thought you would have a different themed restaurant every evening instead of three per week.

We would like to recommend you to visit our web site with plenty of Bahía Príncipe hotels in Tenerife, Mexico, Dominican Republic or Jamaica.

Best Regards from Tenerife,

We were told by the Thomas Cook rep in the shop that the hotel was within walking distance of Costa Adeje and Las Americas. It was much further than walking distance and down a dual carriage way, it was a bus ride into Las Americas and a taxi back if we wanted to venture into town. The hotel itself was fabulous, the choice and quality of food was great. The fact that we were all inclusive meant lazy days by the pool and entertainment at night.

Dear Guests,

Thank you for your time in writing about Bahía Príncipe Hotel.

We are pleased to hear that you have had a fabulous time among us and that you liked the variety and quality of food.

We are sorry to know that the hotel location was not what you expected. Our resort is located in area of Playa Paraiso, which is not walking distance to Costa Adeje or Las Américas. However, the hotel offers two daily shuttle buses and the are always taxis available. Besides, there is a public bus running every half an hour to Las Américas and Los Cristianos from the top of the hotel an it is very cheap.

We would like to see you again in Bahía Príncipe.

October school break means a return trip to a superb hotel on the coast Adeje. All inclusive can often sound like great value until you sample the delights of an unimaginative menu and poor quality drinks but that cannot be said of Bahia Principe as the buffet food is consistently of such a high standard that the on site a la carte restaurants struggle to compete.
The hotel is divided into two main hotel blocks and on this second occasion we found ourselves in the upper level hotel. Although concerned at first that it might not meet the standard of our neighbour we soon found the staff just as friendly, the rooms spacious and clean and the pool area and gardens all superbly maintained. You can see more of the garden area from the upper level and the care and work that goes into landscaping and general maintenance of the hotel area cannot be faulted.
The staff work extremely hard and you can see that in general they are very much "on message" about the importance of being friendly no matter how hard they are working
For a family holiday you would struggle to find better as the "animation team" keep the kids occupied with events and activities throughout the day and early evening entertainment. For the adults the entertainment is average..,you know the stuff..Somebody sings The Drifters songs, somebody does an Elton John tribute act etc. pretty good when in the holiday mood.
If you want to chill out by a pool enjoy the prospect of good food, plentiful drinks and sunshine then book your tickets for Bahia Principe

Room Tip: Unfortunately the pool sun chairs get booked up early. Although the hotel have a no "towel on c...

We stayed in early december for my birthday and our anneversary. Food was very varied and of good quality. Drinks available all day, and they are all self service so no queuing they even have caviar and champange for breakfast. The hotel is quite isolated which makes it feel very safe because the only people there are staying there. It is perfect for a chilled out week, relaxing by the pool, whilst everything is taken care of in the all inclusive package including the mini bar in your room. Superb value for money. Perfect for adults, don't think there is much for kids or teenagers to do. but is only a short drive down to the town for all the entertainment you could want.

Room Tip: try for a high room, as the veiw is very restricted on lower floors.

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 week holiday in the Bahia Principe, Costa Adeje.
We could not fault this hotel in any way, this was our first visit but we definitely hope it won't be our last. The hotel is absolutely spotless, the staff are all lovely and the food was amazing. The speciality restaurants are good, we especially liked the Mexican. The choice and quality of food in the buffet restaurants was also very impressive.
We never had a problem getting sunbeds and the pools are lovely particularly the infinity pool.

The hotel is a bit remote but we walked into Playa Paraiso a couple of times and we used a combination of the free hotel bus, the local buses and taxis when we wanted to go into Costa Adeje, Las Americas etc.

Overall we could not find anything bad to say about this hotel. The staff are an absolute credit to the hotel and all of them provided outstanding customer service.

We visited the Bahia Principe In October 2012. We had a fantastic time. It's far enough away from all the madness but close enough to visit the main attractions. The service from the reception staff was excellent and the facility's were equally as good. There is a great variety of restaurants and bars to visit although there are 2 bars located near the entertainment venue which charge you for drinks. The only thing we can fault was the waiter service, there were a Few occasions where we would order drinks and not see the waiter/waitress again. Also one waiter/waitress which was a little arrogant and it was funny coming home to tell family members who visited the hotel this year to feel the same way about this waiter/waitress. We would definitely return to this hotel no wonder its so highly recommended.
