“A must visit!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2011

Another year passes & some establishments have closed due to the 'All inclusives' ruining the islands nightlife but due to the popularity of The Original Wigan Pier it goes from strength to strength. A good meeting place at the bottom of the hill at Mare Verde this pub is a must visit place for those staying within the area, there is always a great welcome from the staff, who do work tirelessly to keep you supplied with food & drink from an extensive menu, I recommend the Sunday dinner. A big thank-you to them & also to Charlie, Jane & the unstoppable Emma for their work in making this entertainment establishment & food haven ticking over so well. Great good, clean family entertainment is on offer every night with quizzes & live acts, which everyone appreciates making for a full house every time we visited. Getting to meet other holiday makers & having a bit of craic with them too always makes for a good evening out too. We look forward to getting back & paying them another visit later in the year. Thanks again C, J E & all staff. BTW Emma, what was the Motown & Soup like? Ha!! Until next time, Adios Amigo's.

“Home from home pub accompanied by service with a smile!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2011

On a recent short break to Costa Adeje, we stumbled upon the Original Wigan Pier. We were staying in neighbouring apartments so this was an ideal watering hole for when our all inclusive package stopped at 11pm. This IS a pub and not a restaurant, but although we didnt sample any of the food it all look excellent and we were informed by other patrons that it was as good as it looked. The staff are all excellent and extremely friendly, which creates an excellent atmosphere! There is a quiz every night and live entertainment. A fantastic place to visit in a lovely resort.

“OMG. Now I know what a good night out is.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2011

We have been going to Tenerife for 10 years but have only just this time found Original Wigan Pier. OMG, what an experience. I cannot fault anything about this place. The food & drink: Great. So much choice, good prices, plenty of it, piping hot & the chips, WOW. The atmosphere & entertainment:: Superb. Always something going on & Wednesdays when it is staff night is a scream. The staff: Exceptional. All of them are really friendly, happy & go out of there way to make you welcome & Emma, what can I say, that girl is fantastic., an absolute lunatic. Next holiday already being booked & the first port of call will be Original Wigan Pier. Absolutely fantastic.
