We spent a lovely week at Los Arcos Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we felt that they tried to make us feel individuals, e.g. by asking how our trip was to the Alhambra, which the receptionist helped us arrange. The hotel is clean and comfortable and we enjoyed relaxing quietly by the pool. The luxury tapas in the hotel is excellent and very good value at 15 euros. The breakfast was basic continental and we felt they hadn't grasped "Full English", but we were in Spain. The hotel is at the top of a hill, so expect a steep 15 minute walk back from Burriana beach. There was an hourly bus into the town, 1euro, which picked up from outside the hotel. The town is delightful and we hired sunbeds on the beach and there were so many good places to eat. We felt we had found two gems in Nerja and the Los Arcos Hotel.

Just returned from a very relaxing week in the Los Arcos Nerja. Stayed in a good sized superior room which had a private large balcony. This hotel is very clean,has a friendly receptionist and hard working bar staff. Go to this hotel if your looking for a clean, small and friendly hotel in a town which has managed to retain its Spanish charm.

The travel-company was absolute right for making this hotel a last relaxing day in the sun of our 10 day trip through Andalusia. In Grenada we left at 11 AM with 13 degrees and rain, and at 1 PM we sat on our balcony in the full sun in 22 degree in Nerja. The hotel is very basic, but location is good as the service and price. In 5 minutes walk you reach the cosy beach for sunbathing or diner. A main annoyance however was that the Internet for us was not functioning and the reception said they could not do anything about it, so we could not check in our return-flight on our desk-top.

Location is out of town but we had a car so it was not a problem with it being less than 5 minute drive to the various beaches and the old town. It is in an elevated position with distant views out to the sea. It has quite a pleasant outlook.

Our room was quite large, very clean, air-conditioned and a ceiling fan. Our room #201 was wonderful and had a terrific large balcony with 2 sun lounges and a table and chairs In room safe had a cost of 2 Euro a day. Internet is available but only in the cocktail lounge (not in the room as said on our receipt, “in room internet via modem or Wifi in foyer, cocktails are”.

Breakfast was included but if not, was 4 euro’s per day per person. We originally booked for 2 days (breakfast included) and then extended our stay. The breakfast was not good enough to warrant the 4 Euros each

The swimming pool area is very nice and it seemed to have sufficient sun lounges. The pool is positioned to make the most of the sun so you shouldn’t have any problem in getting enough sun for a tan.

We didn’t eat in the restaurant, which looked OK, having an open court feel, but did enjoy their half price drinks during happy hour.

The staff were very helpful, very nice and made our stay an around good experience.

The pool, price, friendly staff and inclusions meant that even with no room WiFi or in room internet, we would still consider staying here again.
