“Conned”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2014

Went there with wife and daughter and femail waiter highly recommended a particular dish which was not on their menu, which I ordered. She also suggested a particular red wine to go with it. The recommended dish and other two meals were very average and the wine acceptable. However the bill was very high for what we had, and as the one dish and the wine were not listed, I had no real grounds for complaint. I shall never go there again.

“A little gem in Nerja”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2014

This restaurant is such a nice surprise. We went here nearly every night the tapas where to die for changing daily and the drink is very reasonable. We had the restaurant food a few times which is also very good. I would highly recommend this bar for its service and quality of food and also the girl who owns it is so very helpful my husband was a bit under the weather one night and I went on my own and she gave me to take back to the hotel a lovely goats cheese starter for him. Hope to see again soon

“Ninos new year 2013”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2014

El Ninos is one of those jewels you either come across by chance, or is suggested to you by a friend with local knowledge.
I suppose ours was a little of both. Having been visitors to Nerja for some eight years now, 2013 was the year we decided, that we should stop going to the more expensive steak restaurants near to the Balcon and start eating where the locals go.
We went out one day with a friend and he took us to several tapas bars, unfortunately El Ninos doesnt open till around seven, so we had to make another visit, having worked through the myriad of side streets.
The selection of tapas is just wonderful, each portion offered with a drink.....it is absolutely addictive. Whether you just want a couple of dishes, or you want to make a night of it, the food, drink and ambience is first rate.

“Perfect New Year's Eve dinner!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2014

We booked a New Year's eve dinner for 6 at El Nino and it was excellent! The 4 course meal - starting with canapes followed by pate & toast, a lovely fish dish and succulent braised pig cheeks in red wine sauce with wild rice as mains and a special Spanish dessert followed to complete the dinner - was a fabulous combination to end the year.
After the meal there was live music/ entertainment till the early hours and boy we did had a laugh!! Thanks Bibi, we all had a great time and will have many more on our next visits to Nerja..

“Best tapas around”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013

Tapas free and fresh daily, wine and beer cheap. Restaurant food big disappointment and expensive by comparison, don't order suckling pig it was basically a lump of fat with about 2 forkfuls of meat on the whole thing.
