we spent a week here and our villa was perfect, sea views and sunrise were great. very quiet with several bars onsite. The walk into town is around half hour but beware the steep hill down and up again from the urbanization to the road, it can take its toll if your not an avid walker!
the pretty square around town is packed with some good places to eat,a nice place to visit in the early evening. The beach is pebble and sand and has a few places to eat and drink.
We had some great evenings at the MT bar, at punta lara, with Mark and Jamie, very nice clientelle, holiday makers and residents were all very friendly and as new owners the boys are doing a great job.
Our one visit to the Tropicana bar onsite was spoilt by having money we had set ready to pay for drinks disappear from the bar, with no concern shown at all from the staff, we wont be visiting again.
as we would return to punta lara in the future.
