Great small zoo that can be reached on foot from the centre of Fuengirola. You can see tigers, gorillas, chimps, crocodiles, reptiles, etc. All now in a natural, green habitat. Pleasant wooded, water cooled environment for the vistors. Zoo has changed enormously from the past when it used to have those horrible sterile, concrete cages, etc. Well designed, animals can be seen from various vantage points and behind glass so you can get really close up. Many animals had young too which was a pleasure to see. Our 2 year old loved it. Wheelchair / pushchair access not a problem. There is a cafeteria and shop selling the usual zoo souvenirs. Childrens adventure play area which is fine. There are shows too during the door feeding birds, etc. Takes about 2 hours to cover. Recommend this if you are in / near Fuengirola.
