As promised, we retutned to the Florida with Family in tow.
we booked ours with Thompson but as they dont allow Children at this hotel, we booked my Daughter, Partner & 3 children directly with the Hotel, they had 2 interconnecting rooms on the first floor near the pool. We asked for the same room as last year because of the fantastic view.
As last time the hotel and service was spot on, the only moan I had was that the wine we ordered with our meal wasn't left in a wine cooler but just put on the table
. That was until Maria returned from her days off then everything was perfect, She is a lovely person and always smiling and friendly, she also makes sure the restaurant runs smoothly, in fact all the staff are nice and friendly not forgetting the cleaning ladies who were very pleasant.
The food is still excellent and a good choice, we stayed half board, only once did we have our lunch out on the promenade, and it was 3.50 euros for a chees & ham toastie with a piddly bit of salad, the pool bar served a cheese and ham toastie with salad & chips for 4.50 euros much nicer and better value.
My Grandchildren spent a lot of time in the pool and had a great time, the pool isnt dep and reached up to the youngest ( three& half) chest so they had lots of confidence in the water.

would I go again? definately I wouldn' t stay anywhere else in Fuengirola

Just returned from a week at the Florida Spa. Superb location, our room was on the 12th floor, stunning views!! Couldn't find fault with anything during our stay. the only disappointment was the pool, very small; but as the beach was directly opposite the hotel this wasn't an issue! (far better for people watching!!)
All of the staff incredibly friendy, the bar staff were brilliant! The guests tended to be 40+ in age so the entertainment was geared towards this, but very enjoyable. The food was superb!!!
Highly recommended, didn't use the Spa so can't comment, but will definitely be returning!!

Stayed at Florida Spa Hotel for just 3 nights to recover after a week at Club La Costa in the same resort.
Hotel was perfect, wonderful, warm, friendly service from all staff, without exception.
Immaculately presented modern hotel, spotlessly clean.
Twin room on the small size, but nice extras, such as fridge, flat screen TV, huge wardrobe, free safe, tea and coffee making facilities.
Bathroom was really nice with soap, shampoo and shower gels provided
View from balconey was exceptional of the marina and the sea
Food was very good with plenty of choice and the price of the drinks where quite reasonable considering it is a 4* hotel
This is definately the place to stay if you come to Fuengirola, although Fuengirola itself is not that good.

Stayed at Florida Spa Hotel for short break with a girl friend, booked late and wasn't too sure what to expect of hotel or resort.
Hotel was very pleasant surprise, wonderful, warm, friendly service from all staff, without exception.

Bathroom was ultra modern with amazingly powerful walk-in shower.
Request sea view room - views from balcony were breathtaking.
Food was, on the whole, excellent, definitely something for everyone - plenty of fresh tasty salads and piles of fresh fruit.
Pool was surrounded by neighbouring buildings, so only approx quarter of the sunbeds had all day sun, bit disappointing.
Fuengirola was lively resort, but felt safe, reminded me of Brighton rather than Blackpool!
Would recommend you book this hotel - enjoy!!!
