The apartment was very comfortable. We were on the 1st floor, and could hear the music if we got home too early - but it was very enjoyable to listen from the balcony or in bed. The beach is right across the road. They ask you not to move the furniture, but you have to if you are a couple - just lift everything so it does not make a lot of noise.
There are so many great places to eat and drink, so don't get stuck in one place - have a look around.
A previous review had perfect directions, just get the train from the airport(€2.30), then a short walk to the hotel.
If you want to watch sport, especially if you are there for the Lions rugby tour go to The London Pub. They are really celebrating the Lions tour, they have a big screen. The atmosphere and staff are fantastic. We hope to go back and visit them again.
If you want great tapas for €1, head away from the beach a couple of roads up - yum, yum.

H ave stayed at these apartments a number of times now.Had room that had a front sea view.Good sized balcony.Very clean and towels changed every day.Rooms also cleaned daily apart from a Sunday.Staff always very helpful.Near to all amenities.Rooms also have good facilities for self catering.Night time entertainment till midnight.
Bus station not far away where you are able to book excursions to Gibralter,Ronda and plenty of other places. Also you can book up to be taken back to the airport for 9 Euros.
Only returned from a weeks holiday yesterday but will be booking up to go back again soon.
Big market held nearby on a Tuesday.

Room Tip: Front sea view to watch sun rise.

This is a lovely hotel with friendly staff. It's close to everything and easily accesible by bus and train. I had a family bereavment whilst here and needed to return early and the staff were very understanding and able to arrange new flights etc. I will definitely be going back with my family....

Room Tip: Front of hotel for the view but the cleaners are out early in the mornings

This was our 3rd visit to La Jabega and was just for a 3 day break, we had asked for a high floor front facing room but was given a first floor side room this was not to our liking and we asked to be moved only to be told all studio apartments were full. We managed to get a 9th floor one bedroom apartment for an extra 10 Euro a night which we took. There are 10 of these all are on the rear side corner which means you get the sun from around 1pm then all afternoon which is nice. It was good to have a bedroom and the bathroom was especially nice as it had a window and was very light with the sun on it during the afternoon. All in all I think the extra 10 Euro is well worth it if you can get one of these apartments.

Room Tip: One bedroom apartments worth the extra.
