great location beach accross the road towels changed daily rooms cleaned daily easy check in staff polite and very helpful good views from balcony we were on ninth floor lifts had to wait at busy times
but not too long food ok but bit repetitive plenty to eat breakfast great lots of choice .rooms are dated decor needs makeover

me and my wife and our daughter we stayed in this hotel 4 two week it was full board but when i arrived there the drinks wernt incl.. but it was ok, any way we stayed in 3 floor facing the sea . most of the nights we didnt sleep ok coz of the noizy streets, the windoors didnt have dbl glazing, the food it was nice at the first three days then after it was the same every day, some of the restaurant staff wasnt very freindly, i been told of for taking some water to the resaurant for my daughter, he said you must buy it here. after two days i found a big insect in the room , i didnt report it thow, the location it was fantastic, the swiming pool it was good but to small for that hotel, but not enough space for everyone, i mean i had to go up there everyday to reserve a place coz if you go later you wont find any,

2couples stayed 10 nights el puerto from 3-13 june have to say reading reviews was apprehensive. team on reception were most helpful and check in very easy. allocated rooms on 7 floor of tall block rooms smallish however spotlessly clean fantastic view of the beach and port. good variety of food at both breakfast and dinner. had previously stayed in sister hotel las palmares but would prefer el puerto for convience and view. noted some of the rooms were carpeted which i don't think was very hygienic. bar called the toon just behind hotel has happy hour all day friendly staff and tasty food

The plus points (1) the location (2) the pool(3) the lifts worked well
The minus points (1) the room was very small (2) bird muck all over the walls of the balcony (3) no sun at anytime on the balcony (4) bed linen well worn (5) the food was cold and there was very little choice.
I would recommend the resort but not the hotel.
