We stayed here out of necessity under recommendation from family. You know you’re not going to be staying at the Ritz and that said, I think we got what we paid for. The cleanliness of the beds was a little poor. Pubic hairs are not a great sign. The bathroom was small. Getting out of the shower meant a foot in the bidet or in the toilet if you weren't careful.

It was quiet but I have heard rumours of thievery from the rooms. So do be careful.

There are some good views to be had from the balconies, so you might get lucky. The suit we had was quite large.

All in all, you get what you pay for.

Room Tip: There are some with good views. Make sure you ask

We stayed in the apartments for 1 month between January and February and really enjoyed our stay. Apartments at the back view the mountains but have sun only late in the afternoon.Apartments at the front overlook the road - our was at the back, so cannot comment on noise.
Very well equipment in terms of electric appliances,, but you may need to buy a few utensils - for example, I bought a couple of tea cloths, wine glasses and a chopping board. As the cost was only 6 euros for the lot, I didn't consider that was a huge deal!!
The snack bar was open (not the restaurant) and that was quite basic but was not busy.
The apartments are located a little way back from the beach about a 5-10 minute walk but are only 5 minutes from Los Boliches train station (2.70 euros single from the airport!) and the buses stop outside El Corte Ingles store opposite the station.
All in all would recommend the apartments -cleaning was excellent, we always seemed to be having clean towels snd reception is efficient and very helpful and friendly.

Good clean hotel near to amenities and easy access to buses & train services.
Friendly staff, regular cleaning & linen changes.
Restaurant poor, not a lot of choice and small portions.
Poor bar facilities and no entertainment. Low on crockery for self catering. Room is o k but couches are very uncomfortable no easy relaxing chairs.
Lovely pool area but shut for second week. Gym adequate.
Lots of lifts and good supermarket.
Short walk to beach and you must visit Manana's bar on the front for super cheap breakfast all cooked fresh and English produce. Also a must is Sandpiper for great Bar/Restaurant with a great choice Menu. This was our second visit to Nuria Sol Hotel enjoyable stay. All rooms have a balcony.

Room Tip: rooms at the front sunny all day with small balconies rooms at the back huge balconies no sun pool v...

Stayed in these apartments last July for two weeks and it was such a great experience that I felt like I had to write a review. These apartments have everything you need, the rooms are spacious and is in such a central location that there is something for everyone, the beach and shops are a short walk away probably about 10 mins. The train station is 5 minutes. We used the train station a lot as we love to do our own thing and do independent exploring. It doesn't take too long to get to into malaga city. Back to the apartments...although the maid only came about 2/3 times during our stay there is a supermarket right next to the apartments where you can buy your own supplies such as wipes etc this isn't a 5 star star hotel so don't go with too high expectations. These apartments have a mix of nationalities but we mainly encountered Spanish families and everything is catered around Spanish culture. In other experiences in different apartments the pool was available reasonably early, at Nuria sol the pool opens at 11am and gets locked around 8pm, this wasn't a problem for us. The only thing I would say is that the floor around the swimming pool was filthy. In general this was a great place to stay and is well worth a second visit

After a week in the Nuria Sol I write this with pleasure as the hotel appears to have addressed many of the concerns guests may have had from earlier reviews.
The hotel is just 300 metres up a slight hill from the Los Boliches rail station, the journey from the airport by train takes about 30 minutes, trains are cheap, clean and prompt and the airport station is opposite arrivals, the train cost 2.55 Euro each.
On arrival we were welcomed and able to pick the room we wanted, the receptionist went to great lengths to explain how to lock your doors properly (heavy duty locks), a reception card that means only you can draw the key and if you needed anything you only had to ask!
We got a room safe straight away, 17.50 Euros for the week.
The room spacious and comfortable, large balcony, washing machine, microwave, dishwasher, iron full on oven which was spotless and fridge freezer.
The hotel sits above a Mercadona supermarket which is heaviy utilised by the locals and therefore of good value, we were able to use our prepaid travelcard and that is something else that is worth taking on holiday, some shops still ask for i.d as well but that is in a way reassuring.
The weather remained good, more lucky men than ever and the dancing goat was special! Menu del Dia ranges from 7 to 15 Euros depending on where you are.
There are a few beggars around just take out with you only what you need, but on the whole please enjoy the costa for the sun it offers!
TV had BBC1, BBC2, ITV and Sky news,

Room Tip: Rear of the building,on the right, high floor overlooking the pool had sun all afternoon.
