We regularly visit Carmona but must have previously arrived after three when this establishment is closed for the afternoon. Today we were luckily there much earlier and were delighted to find it open, having read some promising reviews on Tripadvisor for their delicious sounding crepes.
We were served by the owner, a friendly lady called Maria, who made our family of three very welcome. Drinks were served promptly and the coffee was exceptionally nice. I would not call this a restaurant but a French-style cafe, which we noted was very clean with effective air conditioning, a necessity when it's nearly 40 degrees outside.
We tried both savoury and sweet crepes, which were equally delicious. The ingredients were all freshly prepared and cooked whilst we sat comfortably in the nice surroundings, close to the Alcazar. Prices were reasonable - our savoury crepes of chicken, cheese and egg were 5 euros and the sweet ones were 3 euros 50 cents.
We were not at all disappointed and will, from now on, be getting into Carmona town a little earlier to enjoy a very tasty and inexpensive lunch. We highly recommend this establishment and congratulations to the owner for successfully running La Creperie for a year!
