“Good location and excellent price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

I just stayed there for 2 nights and the price was excellent and it's location too, near the old quarter, you can walk everywhere. The receptionists were very helpful and kind. The room was rather small but it was all clean and very new for a B&B, you really feel as if you were in a hotel.

Excellent small hostal within easy walking of the town centre. We asked for a quiet room and were given one on the top floor. Unfortunately, this did mean that we had no window to look out of but then we don't spend much time in our room anyway so not a major problem for us. The bathroom was a little cramped but was clean and had a good shower. Breakfast was reasonable and at only 3€ per person was good value - pity about the large, loud television that was on in the small breakfast room. There is no parking but we had no problems finding parking on a side street next to the hostal.

Very modern, well designed small hotel. Staff reasonably friendly and speak some English. Good breakfast included in price we paid. Reasonable sized rooms. Good place to stay overnight. Parking is difficult but in October was easy to park in streets below and walk up to hotel. Note pool closes end September.

Clean, simple, modern decor, totally unexpected in small town Baeza. Friendly staff, really great breakfast with lots of choice. The best part was arriving , hot and tired , to find a gorgeous small swimming pool to jump into!

Amid the historic center of Baeza, we found this hostel. We could not believe the experience we had for the price of a hostel. Only 37€ for a double room, plus 3€ per person for a buffett breakfast.
The hostel has a swimming pool and a gym. The rooms are clean and tidy. The bathrooms are great. The whole building is brand new. The staff members are willing to help you in anything you need. They are extremely polite. My own experience, as a person in a gluten-free diet, is unbelievable. They bought me gluten-free pastries, cookies, ham,... just for 3€! The buffett, for normal diets, has a selection of the typical pastries of the region, with the excellent oil.
The rooms are very quiet, since the streets around the hostel are quiet at night. The beds are very comfortable. And the shower is super. They also have silent A/C units.
I strongly recommend this hostel if you travel to Baeza. By the way, Baeza is an awesome, magical place. Don't miss the typical pastries, called "Ochios".

Room Tip: In our experience, any room was quiet and comfortable, with a nice A/C unit.

We chose  Hostal Aznaitin because of the excellent reviews and we were not disappointed.

The simple, modern decor; clean and spacious bathrooms; comfortable beds and friendly, professional service give the impression of a luxury boutique hotel at an affordable price. The team on reception also helped us with our travel arrangements and spoke good English - a real bonus in this part of Spain.

The pool area provides the perfect environment to sit in the sun, read a book or cool off  and we ended up extending our stay in Baeza by several days as we felt so relaxed and at home in this fantastic little hotel.

Although it does cost a little extra we thought the Junior Suite in the attic was well worth it. With a big bedroom, a luxury bathroom, separate sitting room and two televisions it is perfect for a longer stay.

We spent ten weeks travelling in Andalusia and this was our favourite hotel - highly recommended.
