“No Spanish and no glasses and yet still had a good meal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2014

Arrived at cafe bar looking for a late night snack and wandered inside to be warmly welcomed by kind waiter. We were given menus and realised that we had left glasses in hotel. I could not read the menu at all - my wife managed a little bit but she has no spanish. Wonderful assistance for waiter with no English and we managed to have a well balanced three raciones. Would recommend.

“Lovely lunch and excellent service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2014

We shared a few dishes here for lunch - the service was excellent, as was the food. We sat outside and, although the outside tables are on the pavements by the road, potted plants around the tables separate the restaurant very well. We chose a salad and two 'tapas' style dishes to share and there was more food than we expected and very reasonably priced. I will definitely return on my next trip to Antequera.

“The Best Suckling Pig”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2014

My family and I had an excellent meal of roast suckling pig. We've eaten this dish many times not only ..in some of the best restaurants of Segovia but Granada too and I can safely say that the suckling pig we ate at A La Fuerza was the best we have ever tasted especially if you take into account the price /quaity ratio. The service was excellent too. My congratulations to the restaurant and we are looking forward not only to repeating the experience but to trying the tuna fish and Avila steak that are on the menu too. Definately worth a visit for a typical Spanish breakfast and lunch. Excellent location too.

“Wonderfull”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

We had a great dinner, as a starter a very good salad, as main course we had perfectly prepaired fish and as desert a very nice chocolate cake with icecream. Service was very friendly.

“Typical Spain”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2014

What a fabulously quaint Spanish cafe-bar. The menu ranges from different coffees through sandwiches to tapas and the famous spanish menu del dia. A three course lunch for about €8. Great value.
Of course their speciality and the reason we drove 18 kilometres is their churrios and hot chocolate. A sort of donut that you break into pieces, dip and eat. Yummie. Highly recommended.
