Stayed for one night only and was impressed at what I saw, staff were all helpfull, room very clean and a lovely bathroom with large bath to soak in, plenty of parking around hotel and about ten minute walk into the town centre, there are a couple of local bars/cafe just up the road, only grouse is about the drinks service on the terrace, arrived back at hotel about 11pm and after half hour gave up waiting to be served and went to inside bar and was served immediately, overall good hotel in good quiet location, prices OK for drinks ( 5 euros for spirit/mixer) house wine 12 euros, snacks were also reasonable, just shame about terrace service.

Just returned from a package tour to Andalucia staying at the Antequera Golf Hotel. Very good rooms, clean, good sized bathroom with bath and shower. Toiletries provided daily and clean towels as well. Food excellent, - enormous buffet breakfast, and evening meal.

Only disappointment was that the hotel was about 20 minutes walk from the town centre. Too late after a day out sightseeing, and local youths gathered just up the road. Building going on all around it. Thought it was on the Golf Course (brochure slightly misleading - offering Golf packages which made it sound as though it was actually next to the golf course, but it was about 2 - 3 kilometres down the road. Big foyer with squashy sofas to sit on, and a small terrace beside the outdoor pool, otherwise nowhere else to sit and chat and look at the scenery.

However, would stay there again if I was on another package holiday with excursions. El Torcal national Park - absolutley stunning.

We have just returned from a week's holiday at the Antequera Golf Hotel and had a wonderful time.

The Hotel lives up to its 4 Star rating. Friendly staff and lovely bedrooms kept spotlessly clean. Free safe. TV in the room and mini bar. Plentiful supply of toiletaries and daily towel change with sheets changed every couple of days. Also an internet room which is free to guests and a Beauty Salon in the Spa which is quite reasonable.

The Dining room was marvellous have never seen such wonderful food. Great choice of dishes and sweets.

Antequera is lovely and very historic. We walked into the centre in about 10 minutes from the hotel. The local people are lovely and very helpful.

Would definitely recommend a stay here. We hope to return next year.

This is a lovely area to explore if you have a car and within walking distance of Antequera. The golf course is a drive away but we are not golfers, the hotel has nice sized rooms and food was good as we were on half board. The only negative was the cost of the New Years Eve Gala Dinner which we assumed would be included as we had booked and paid for the week in advance and the leisure facilities which were extra and you only find out when you get there. Eventually we did pay what we considered to be a significant sum compared to what the hotel had cost for the week and had a super night spanish style. We were sat with English speaking people which made life easier and the New Year Dinner was an experience - not the best meal as they were catering for such a lot - but made up for by the atmosphere.
