“Very interesting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

As good as anything we have seen, including various forts in France. Excellent hand-held audio talk, excellent fort including reconstruction, walkway and bell tower, tiny souvenir shop, interesting video in the neghbouring church, lovely tapas bar by the church.

“Jaw dropping views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013 via mobile

Getting to El Torcal was somewhat confusing because the signage was poor but once we got on the right road the journey was glorious! At one point we stopped the car at an overlook and were amazed by the views. The rock formations at the top were also interesting. Antequerra is also worth a visit on the way back down.

“Highly Interesting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

Walk through the mountains. Take one of the colored routes and you'll be amazed by the ancient sculptures. Most likely made by very distant culture - approx. 10.000 years ago or so(?). Have a look for yourself to make up your own mind.

“Good site”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013 via mobile

I'm not known for my love for walking but this site is worthwhile the trip. Various distances of easy but "off road" walks. Put on your walking shoes, I've seen women struggle on heels. Absolutely breathtaking scenery.
Free of charge, plenty parking and again different loops of different lengths. Green will bring you back in about 45 minutes to your car. Information centre with coffee and clean toilets on the premises. We got there on a cool day in June but in summer you better go in the morning or evening.

Stunning scenery well worth the drive to the top, take time to read all the explanatory signs about the history of this site.
