Great steak, awesome onion rings....kinda pricey, but quality is worth it. Some kind of fruity drink was unbelievable...megawatt something or another. Will return.

“Our favorite seafood in Northwest Arkansas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

the Powerhouse building is just that - it was the power plant building for Fayetteville in the 30s, so it has a great atmosphere. And we're a long way from the big water, but everything on the menu is fresh. My wife gets the fried shrimp. That's it, doesn't need a menu! I've got several favorites, but have also tried many of the daily specials, and I've never been disappointed. Expect it to be crowded on weekend nights or when the Razorbacks are playing up the street at the University of Arkansas! Lunch is great - you can order from the dinner menu if you wish, or get a smaller lunch portion for a great price.

“Dinner great brunch not.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2014

Went there twice in 24 hours. Cool atmosphere. First we went for dinner. Had a big party of about 20 for a graduation party. Dinner was really good. The gumbo was excellent. Hush puppies were great and the blackened tilapia was very well cooked and delicious. The cheese cake was also very good. Service was great. We came back the next morning for mothers day brunch. Not a good idea. It was super unorganized, service was very slow. It took them over an hour and a half to get our food out to us. Bacon was nasty. You could tell it had just been sitting for an hour. Omelettes were dry and they got the orders wrong. Potatoes were not seasoned at all.

For dinner this place gets a very good and I'd go back. Brunch gets a very poor and would but recommended.

“Below Expectations”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2014

We were looking for something new and nice to celebrate. Powerhouse was recommended. First it is very hard to find. The lobster bisque soup was outstanding I have to say. Unfortunately it went down from there. The rest of the meal (combo platter) was Red Lobster quality only smaller portions. Prices, however, were a lot higher. It was okay but would not gain a repeat visit.

“Not bad, not great”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2014

I had grilled tilapia with shrimp and crab sauce on top. Tilapia was very good, sauce wasn't very tasty. Would have been better to leave off the sauce. Meal came with one side. I picked, at waiter's suggestion the cole slaw. It was good, sweet, and a large portion, which I shared. They serve cornbread muffins with each meal. They were good, a little sweet as well. Server did a nice job waiting on us.
