Owner description: Fayetteville's First Home of Bill and Hillary Clinton -At one bedroom and 1800 square feet, this unassuming house in Fayetteville, Arkansas is like many other homes that surround it. However, this home has a special place in history. Not only did a future United States President and Secretary of State call this their first home, they were married right in the living room. Bill Clinton took Hillary Rodham's hand in marriage seventeen years before he would be elected President. Now, here is your chance to see the house that served as the backdrop for that day in October of 1975. You'll see much more than just a well-preserved and restored home in the beautiful Ozark mountains. Witness rarely seen memorabilia of Clinton's early political career, including his campaigns for US House of Representatives and Arkansas Attorney General. Study some of Clinton's earliest political speeches, showcasing his unique style that would eventually be discovered by millions around the globe. View a faithful replica of Hillary's wedding dress, and follow a timeline to put their Fayetteville years in perspective. Peruse our gift shop, discovering books, mementos, and more for a keepsake of your trip and be just steps away from the University of Arkansas campus where the Clinton's taught at the Law School. OPEN: MONDAY-SATURDAY 8:30am-4:30pm ADMISSION: ADULTS $8, STUDENTS $5

“Great little museum!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2013

When I arrived at this museum, I was the only guest. The director, who has known Bill Clinton since she was a small child, greeted me and gave me a personal tour. When another guest arrived, he became part of the conversation. The museum is about the Clintons' early careers and their wedding. Great photos, great memorabilia and a fascinating look at the early years of two of our most influential citizens!

“So They Started Out Like Real People!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

Intimate look at the young grads and the emergence of their interests and personalities. Our tour guide was sassy and no holds barred in her talk about the Clintons. You had to ask her to know she has a doctorate and was a tennis player !

Nice compilation of the history of the Clinton family. Easy access to main street but parking is a little lacking.

We are so lucky to have this little spot in NWA. The home is beautifully preserved w/ a gorgeous rose garden in honor of Hillary Clinton, and they are always having fun events.
