Stayed one night January 2014 and found hotel staff most welcoming. Food good. Ate dinner in bar and portions generous and quality of food quite satisfactory and reasonably priced. Breakfast well cooked and good choice.
Large bedroom with all the usual essentials.
The main plus is that they genuinely welcome pets. I had a very small dog who had a fantastic time there. Plenty of space both outside and inside (in front of fantastic open fire) to tire him out.
Would both recommend to others and stay again.
