“Think home from home!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013 via mobile

I was attending a wedding in the nuremore hotel and we stayed here!! Very friendly owner she even left us to the hotel after we checked in so we wouldn't have to get a taxi! Was a very cold day and there were extra blankets on our beds and the electric blanket switched on when we got back so the beds were toasty! However i didn't have an electric blanket on my bed so was a lil chilly even with the extra blanket so just incase pack a lil hot water bottle!!! I'd wished I did! Ohhh but the kitkats made me extra happy in the morning!!!

Had a wedding at the Nuremore Hote; and this is a perfect place stay. It was clean, warm and Catriona the owner is very nice and willing to help. Tea and coffe facilities in our room and as below said a kit kat each. Bed was nice and comfy and breakfast was great.

Would stay here again if im attending a wedding in the Nuremore Hotel.

We loved this B&B! We were attending a wedding at the Nuremore and this was the perfect place for us to stay. It was clean, cosy, warm and the host- Catriona, was lovely. Having read the previous review I wasn't sure what to expect but I pomise you there weren't any rubber pillows or nylon sheets to be seen! Even tea and coffee making facilities in all rooms and kit kats for a snack too!! We had our two year old daughter with us and we all had a fantastic nights sleep- beds were really comfortable. Next morning breakfast was delicious- our wee girl even got her favourite breakfast- egg in a cup! Nothing was too much bother for the host, Catriona. The Nurebeg House is a fantastic B&B, the rates are extremely reasonable (especially when compared to the hotel prices), I will definitely be recommending it to all and really hope to stay again soon!

We recently stayed in the Nurebeg as we were attending a wedding in the Nuremore. Our host was warm friendly and very helpful and breakfast was average. Unfortunately this is where our positive review ends...The room we stayed in was dank with mouldy wallpaper. While the bedroom was warm the bed was less than comfortable with nylon sheets and rubber pillows (I'm not lying!!). The bathroom was sub zero with cold running water and the shower had clearly been installed in the early 70's. This was very disappointing given the rates charged. Unfortunately it seems that the owners are complacent given that they are pretty much guaranteed overflow business from the Nuremore. Shame on you for charging so much.

  • Liked — Pleasant host
  • Disliked — rubber pillows

We've just returned from a stay at this beautiful guesthouse, having been recommended it by friends. We were attending a wedding in the nearby Nuremore Hotel and this guest-house is in a great location (I'd say it the closest one to the hotel). There was 6 in our party and the rooms we were allocated were clean, bright and spacious. We were able to leave our cars at the guest house as the host left us to the hotel for the wedding reception and gave us taxi numbers for returning home. If we were really stuck we could have walked back, it's only about 10 minute walk away. When we got back to the house at 2.30am the rooms were very warm and cosy. Next morning the water was piping hot and last breakfast was 10am which was great. We all had a hearty full breakfast (as much toast or homemade brown bread as you could eat). As I said, we have been recommended this place by friends and it really was great. It is a family run stablishment with the emphasis on friendliness and cleanliness.... 10 out of 10 we loved it!

  • Liked — Wonderful family run establishment
  • Disliked — Nothing I could fault it for... check out the display at the entrace....it's class!
