We were so well looked after at this farm a very warm welcome to start and thanks to our wonderful guide PJ we had a brilliant day out!! After the fun on the Farm we were treated to yummy homemade scones and tea!!! I highly reccommed this farm for a wonderful day out for any age or group!!! I wish them many years of continued success!! Siobhan Busher (the McDonald Hen)

“Great for a Hen!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

A smallish group of us went to Causey Farm as part of a Hen Do. It was the best hen activity any of us have ever done (and we're all at that age where we are going to A LOT of hen do's!!!!) It's definitely a place that requires you to get into the spirit of it, as it is mucky and messy, but it is fabulous fun!!! Making bread was great, and we chose a great time to be there, with all the baby animals to hold!!! The bog jumping was hilarious, and we loved every moment of it!!! The team there are great, they couldn't be more friendly and helpful, and definitely up for the craic!! We had a gloriously sunny day, which definitely did help, but it would have been fabulously fun even in the rain!!! We booked to stay with one of the accommodation packages with Knightsbrook Hotel in Trim, which worked out great!!! Would definitely recommend this to anyone!! A massive thank you to everyone there!!!!!!

“Excellent place to go with a group of friends/hen party!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

A lovely way to spend the day getting down and dirty the irish way! :) Baking bread, milking cows, painting on white washed walls, bog hopping, feeding lambs, playing with sheep dogs, irish dancing and chasing cockerels.......finished off with tea and scones! We had a blast! The only negative would be the price......a bit expensive for what it is!! :)

“Great fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

We visited Causey Farm as part of my daughter's hen week end. the visit was well organised and great fun. On our arrival we were met by Moya who first got all of us to bake bread. Even the least domesticated among us was able to follow her step by step instructions. Then having left our bread to be baked we went to milk a cow, cuddle some lambs, feed a goat, learn to play a bodhrán, dance the Siege of Ennis and paint my daughter's "life story" on a wall. Then the "young wans" went off to the bog to kiss a Fertility Tree. The more "senior" members returned to the Cook house to be treated to complimentary tea coffee and gorgeous scones.
On the day as far as we could make out there could have been up to 10 groups. In spite of that it ran like clockwork. There was no overlapping of groups or waiting to take part in an activity.
All in all a fantastic day. I could recommend this for a family day out or a school tour as well as for Hens
