“great rooms food ok”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2014

We have stayed at most of the airport hotels in and around dublin airport as we are regular visitors to usa, This was our first time in the premiere inn and we are really impressed, the rooms are clean large, with comfortable beds and pillows, We booked over night with parking for 15 beds and it was the best rate we could find. We shall be staying here again with out a doubt. The food was just ok we would probably eat before we check in next time, my sister and her husband came to see us and unfortunately the bottle of wine we wanted was out of stock, not sure if we caught the bar man on a bad night but he was not really that pleasant but over all you would hard pressed to find such a high standard hotel at a very reasonable price.

Room Tip: there is a pub that does good food 2 mins down the road called the coachmans inn good value

We stayed at this hotel last year. We have just returned for this past weekend. The rooms are nicely finished with tea & coffee facility, comfy beds (really comfy) choice of pillows soft/firm. Only downfall minimal space for clothes. Hanging space but no drawer space! breakfast never fails to please and evening meals looked very nice. We ate at TGI's close by which was disappointing! (Another review sent for that) and we had a dinner show on our second night in the City. Will most definitely stay there again, highly recommended, staff are very friendly and helpful.

As in previous reviews of Premier Inns in Plymouth and London this year and in 2012, we appreciate the quality and value (relative to prevailing UK hotel prices) of these places. This was our best PI experience yet. The hotel seems new, or a very good refurbishment, our room was modern, large and very comfortable, service friendly and professional (except curious moment when we, as paying guests of the hotel, came to the lobby restaurant for dinner and were asked if we had reservations. No. Suggestion was made that this would be a problem, though half of the tables were empty, but that they would make an exception by taking us in - very strange unless I misunderstood). One of my complaints about PI maintains over two years and three hotels: the wifi in rooms is elusive, grudging and the the free half hour goes away if you don't remember to somehow sever your connection to it after you've logged off the internet. Unlimited lobby wifi here was fine. My two other complaints about PI in general, do not apply here. Real people greet and check you in here, as they did in Plymouth, not those ridiculous impersonal computers they had when we were in London two years ago. And the shower here is a large walk in with a seat instead of the dangerous, high sided bathtubs without appropriately placed grab bars in the other two PIs we've used. Thank you for that. Airport shuttle is good for a quick trip to and from (though we had a problem finding it upon a late arrival on a Sunday night). Walk out the door to the left and up to the next intersection, turn left on the sidewalk about 200 feet brings you to the 41 buses directly into the center of Dublin in about 25 minutes for 3.05 euro exact fare, coins only.

Myself and my partner have just stayed in the premier Inn as an overnight stay before our early flight to our honeymoon destination. We were incredibly pleased with our stay. Great value (39 euro!) Big room, really comfy bed, spotless, staff very friendly and helpful, and best of all slept amazing. Highly recommend.

So impressed with this hotel for our pre flight stay. Staff were all exceptionally polite and helpful. Loved that we could walk to restaurants and shops and weren't a captive audience in the middle of nowhere, forced to use the hotel restaurants etc. yet we checked out the local menus and came back to eat dinner in the hotel (so did 2 other sets of residents we noted!) dinner was great and very reasonably priced. The room was spotless and the shower great and best of all perhaps was breakfast before we flew. The best poached egg I have had in quite a while and all you can eat with bottomless costa coffee. What's not to like! Well done!

Room Tip: I asked for a high floor away from the lift. Staff happy to oblige

Stayed here on a short break to Dublin. Arrived at 7pm, quick check-in, extra beds and cot present on arrival. Requested extra bedding for the cot and this was provided immediately by staff. Room was clean, spacious and well stocked with tea, coffee, shower gel etc. Staff members were helpful and polite, and the demands (and noise!) of our 3 very young children were never too much. Plentiful breakfast in the morning which was hot and very tasty. Only complaint is that the room was very warm, although this was only because we were too tired and comfortable to get out of bed and put the air-conditioning on! Probably the most comfortable hotel bed i have ever slept in.
Just a few minutes from Swords, which is a lovely town with everything you need for a short stay. Also minutes from the airport.

All-in-all, a lovely stay in a great hotel. Highly recommend.

Normal good standard for the premier inn with everything you need in the room. Breakfast and dinner menus were really good value. Very hand shutters bus arrangements running every 30 minutes so no worries about missing the plane.
