“Good Value, Clean and Friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2014

Stayed at the Dublin Premier Inn, as we needed to be close to the airport for a very early morning flight. Staff is very friendly, room is clean, spacious and and comfortable. Very good value for the money. Would definitely stay here again. Shuttle a big plus as it makes getting to airport so easy and inexpensive.

We arrived after 10pm at night, and the shuttle was right on time to pick us up. The room was quiet, nice, clean with all things we needed. We left early the next day to catch our flight back to the US, so didn't eat breakfast. I lost a rolled up watercolor that I had purchased in Paris while getting off of the shuttle, but didn't notice until I was checking in at the airline. Once through security, I called the hotel, they checked with the shuttle, found the painting and shipped it to my house. I was thrilled, and so impressed at how quickly they helped me. I have had similar things happen at large, expensive hotels, and they were not so helpful. I would recommend this hotel even without the painting incident, but they went so far above what I expected that I absolutely had to put it in writing!

We stayed 3 Nights, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 39 euro a night. There was a huge group of us so some of our rooms weren't ready when we arrived however we didn't really mind as we had a drink in the bar while we waited. The rooms were lovely, very clean and lots of space. The bathroom was a great size and the power showers were a great added bonus. The only thing I would complain about in the room is that it had a lack of draws! Open wardrobe with hanger to hand up clothes but one small draw between two of meant we had a lot of little bits just pilled up in the corner of the room. I guess the only other reason the Hotel didnt get an 'excellent' rating from us is the Breakfast! Its 10 euro for the premier (fry up) or 7 euro for continental. We both did premier on the first morning, its self service so they make a point of selling it to you so you can eat as much as you like however, there was nothing there. Everything ran out pretty quickly and once it was replaced something else had run out, we ended up stood there about 15 minutes waiting for more food which obviously meant other items went cold. The 2nd day we did continental, croissants, fruit, cereal and yogurts were all laid out in the plenty! There is a shuttle bus from zone 14 at the airport that cots 1 euro to get to the hotel and they run every 15 minutes. The location is great, situation on a retail park there are lots of restaurants, bars and a nightclub, its also only a 15 minute walk into the centre of swords.

We stayed for 2 nights while we visited Dublin and found Premier Inn to be immaculately clean, modern, and comfortable. It was very quiet and peaceful, close to the airport, and close to public bus to get to downtown Dublin. Breakfast is not included. We paid 8 euros per person for the continental breakfast, which was fine- yogurt, fruit, cereal, toast, coffee, juice, etc. (could pay more for hot breakfast) We had dinner in the restaurant and it was okay. Service was slow, food was fine. Staff at front desk was friendly and helpful! Only inconvenience was that wi-fi was only free for the first 30 minutes. Had to pay for it after that. And there was no place to print our boarding passes for our flight out the next morning. But we would certainly stay here again!

We always use this hotel to break up a long journey. The hotel has always lived up to our expectations; staff, comfort, food, etc. One complaint would be 'baggage'. Where the hotel bus drop off is, there is a slight slope, which means that any baggage placed on wheels is apt to roll unto the road. The bus from the airport, this year, (2014) is well marked in Premier Inn colours, in previous years it was a hit & miss thing to find the right bus. Actually, the Dublin Airport Authorities need to clarify the positions where the various public buses will leave from at the airport bus station.

My husband and I stayed at the Premier Inn Dublin Airport before catching a flight the next morning. The room cost 39 euro for the night, with tea and coffee making facility and 1 hour free internet. It was a generously sized room with 2 large comfortable beds.(2 people)
We had dinner in the restaurant and can honestly say the choice and quality of the food was of a very high standard. The staff were all very professional yet friendly. We would definitely recommend this hotel, having previously stayed at 2 of the other 5 Star airport hotels.

Room Tip: Having only stayed the once we have no tips regarding the rooms.
