Have eaten here on a number of occasions.

Food is excellent, and certainly good value for money. Staff are attentive and friendly.
Would highly recommend this place!

“Good Service- Excellent Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

My wife and I took our two adult children and our son-in-law to Ireland for a special vacation in September, with Killybegs as our base. Based on TripAdvisor reviews, we stopped at the Fleet Inn for a pint that Monday night, then came back for dinner twice that week.
The Fleet Inn is a pub with seating off to one side, on the ground floor. We sat at two tables close to the pool table with a view of the two TV’s close by. There is a dining room on the floor above the pub but it might not have been open that week.
The service was very good- friendly and prompt. The food was excellent. We had the popcorn chicken with chili sauce as a starter- very good. We all went for the seafood- two of us had the “Seafood Taster” and it was excellent, including a bowl of fish chowder that was great. The second night was basically the same.
The bill was about 105 Euro each night with food only averaging about 16 Euro each and, of course, we each had a pint or two. Oh, they also have Wi-Fi so we found it a good place to check email and see how our favorite sports teams back in Wisconsin were doing- while having a pint!
I highly recommended The Fleet Inn.

“Friendly Bar”

Popped here several times during my stay in Killybegs. It's close to the town centre but down a little side street so secluded.
Really friendly staff, and great Guinness!

“Superb!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2012

My family (Wife, young children and Grand-Parents) ate there twice whilst staying in the area.

On both occasions we were well attended without being pestered. The quality of the food was excellent, well presented and perfectly cooked. All the meals came out together and were piping hot. There was a great variety of seafood dishes on the menu.

The childrens meals were not the usual sausage and chips variety and although they were simple dishes they were still good enough for an adult to be happy to eat. Additional vegetables were offered without asking.

The bill was €127 & €149, including wine, on each night. Although not everyone had a starter and/or dessert we were all very full when we left.

We would eat there again without hesitation. It's rare to have a faultless experience, even in a top restaurant, but this was one of those times.
