Have reviewed this place before and it was homestly the best chineese ive ever had . However it changed ownership this month and reopened with a new menu. Got my usual takeaway the night it reopened and it was just ok average nowhere near the usual standard. The staff had poor english and prices have increased. I did however give them the benefit of doubt as it was first night reopen so i tried again after two weeks and it was quite possibly the worst chineese ive ever had . Even the fried rice tasted like it was burnt. Its a shame really it was always a busy place too but that will soon come to an end as everyone ive spoken to has a similar story to tell . It was once great but it is no more .
over priced, egg fried rice was over cooked big chunks of over cooked egg that was green and inedible even for my dog, chicken was over cooked and you couldn't even bite into it again not even edible for animals and the sauce was like water not even the over cooked rice would soak it up if you are looking for a nice chicken dish or egg fried rice the eden is not the place to go there is much nicer restaurants around and that aren't as expensive and they don't over charge you for bad quality food.
Have ate here on numerous occasions & its to be recommended. Love the Starters the most.. but mains was gorgeous as well... Staff are lovely & very accommodating.. If i do have to complain its that they are a bit pushey about pouring the wine... they over pour anytime the glass goes down a bit.. so that you probably end up ordering more.... so i would recommend easing off that.... but other then that I love going here & havent done it often enough... Decor is lovely as well - v.clean & good atmosphere.
Was eating in here recently, found the staff very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu which is always welcome. Food and wine tasty too, chicken satay skewers very nice and also the general tsao sauce with chicken. nice house wine too. No complaints- Nice place
