I found this little gem via the internet, as we needed to stay close to the airport, as we arrived late, and wanted to get away early. Eileen the landlady was absolutely brilliant...in fact we could not have asked for more. She was very friendly upon our arrival at 10:30pm, and was even prepared to take us down to the local pub for a few Guinness AND then pick us up afterwards...now that's what I call service. The rooms were very nice indeed. I have stayed in hotels which were no where as nice as this place.
Very pleasant, extremely friendly, very clean, great breakfast, extremely flexible (she even moved breakfast earlier for us so we could get away earlier for our walk up Carrantuohill (largest peak in Ireland). The rooms were a superb price of €35 per head including breakfast, and as she was so good to us, we gave her €40 each, and even that was worth every cent.
