“Great service and atmosphere.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2013

I went here with a group of nine on a Saturday. The service was great, very fast and friendly staff. There was a good atmosphere in both the pub and restaurant as they were both busy on a Saturday night. The food was good without being great (some of the smallest mussells I've ever seen) I got the jameson s'more for dessert and it was a bit of a let down. But overall our group had a good night out.

“A wonderful pub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2013

We stopped in here for lunch ahead of an appointment in Crosshaven. The atmosphere, food and service were superb. If only we could have stayed for longer! We enjoyed it so much that we're planning to go back to Crosshaven for a sort break soon!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013 via mobile

I was invited to a celebration here recently and we were a table of 11 all men! We were treated to an 8 course meal if fish, yes just fish, on our company were 2 highly respected restauranteurs so the wine choice was fantastic, we had fresh oysters cold and then hot wkd then mad fish soup a Cronin's Speciality and all I can say is, It Sure Was ! Then Local Seabass gorgeous prawns, lobster and mussels followed by desert and whiskey tasting, the fun part was tge place was full of ladies knitting, knit & Natter club we were told ha ha there we were the men tearing the prawns & lobster to pieces surrounded by ladies stitching & bitc**** very funny! Joleen Cronin was the star if the evening what a great maître de she is and her brother the Chef played a blinder, Have to also mention the bar staff you contributed fantastically to a cracking evening

“Kiwi Fruit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

Like the title, a bit nondescript on the outside but delightful on the inside. We stopped for a quick lunch as it is right next to the (free) car park in Crosshaven and were glad we did so. We had an excellent lunch-crab claws, oysters, calimari, local beer etc.at reasonable prices and good service-with a little extra-the waitress would not charge for the oysters as she had only four left. The highlight however of the establishment is the bar, just about the best ambience we have seen anywhere so far in Ireland , and that is praise indeed. In fact I was so impressedthat I took a photoof itwhich I have never done before(unfortunately it did not come out).

“Best Pub in Cork”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

One of the best pubs I've seen in the world. Massive range of local beers and so much to explore. More than friendly staff and a great location. Perfection.
