“a cornerstone of the Golden Circle tour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2014

This is a "mandatory" stop on the Golden Circle tour. As such, it was quite crowded with many tour buses full of people there at the same time. Even so, we were able to get an up-close view and some great photos of the geyser. It's an entire geyser field, but only one of the geysers erupts reliably every few minutes. It's a good place to get out and stretch your legs, and the restaurant is a decent option for lunch. And of course there's a gift shop.

“Erupts on time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2014

Spectacular geyser which performs on a regular (every 5 minutes or so) basis.
Don't ignore teh signs about the water being hot...it is!
Great area to visit with quite a few "spectaculars" in a relatively small area.

“A quick stop... nothing more.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2014

Since 2010-ish, the main geysir hasn't fired (as a result of an earthquake). The remaining geyser is interesting to watch, but after about 10 minutes, its time to move on.

“Lovely”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2014

We visited this Falls in March and there was still snow and ice everywhere and it was very beautiful. We did this as part of an all day tour to the southern shore.

“What a geysir!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2014

Must see fascinating natural phenomenon and that's just Little Geysir! Very interesting place, even if you didn't like geography at school!
