This is an absolute must see if you are visiting Munich. It's very easy to get to and a very sobering experience as others have indicated. Do not miss this on your tour to Munich!

Definatly a required part of any trip to the Munich area. Easy to access on S-bahn. English captions on photos and info points, and an excellent focussed tour guide. Do not miss this, it may change your life and open your eyes to the extent of the holocaust on the the enitre world....

One of the places I felt I was obligated to go to when I came to Germany was Dachau. This is a lesson of past attrocities and a warning for the future. I feel everyone should make this trip, as it is one you will never forget.

The exhibition is free of charge and relatively easy to get to. The compound is fairly large and you can easily spend much of the day there.

They supposedly had a 20-minute video showing, but they were renovating the theatre when I went there, so I was unable to watch it.

I would highly recommend taking the Radius tour there. My tour guide was extremely knowledgeable on the topic and made the tour a very educational experience. The tour lasts about 5 hours or so.

The exhibition has no place to purchase food or drink, so make sure you bring your own if you plan on staying a while.

Went on the tour from Radius tours..they are stationed at the Munich train station...our guide was Brendan...very informative tour of the concentration camp site...Brendan guided us there via the S-bahn and bus 726. was 17 euro because I also went on the companies Third Reich tour in late after noon
