We stayed in a very small bed in a very cold room (no account was taken of the unseasonally chill August). Sheets and towels were not changed between our first and second nights (despite our request). On the second evening, the owner "invited" us to take an aperitif before the fixed price (EUR 75 per person) set menu. He pressed us to share a very indifferent bottle of Saumur sparkling wine (retail value, max EUR 10) with him and his wife and then charged us EUR 60 for it next day - more than a bottle of decent champagne - although the clear implication was that the aperitif was part of the set menu (which supposedly included wine). I have no problem in paying high prices for quality goods and services, but that was not the case here. Avoid!!
